  1. After the Crave which mimics the Moog Mother32 they finally released the highly anticipated (at least by me) Edge. This is their DFAM clone. I've been waiting for this one since they announced it (when I was 12 years old....no actually somwhere in 2021). So I ordered one right away from Thomann. Seems they have some conflicting information about the shipping date, because it showed 'in stock' when I ordered but now there is a wait time and it shows 1-2 weeks. I will check in with Thomann what is happening. In the meantime they announced the Spice which is the Moog Subharmonic clone and completes the three Moog icons. So I guess I'll be getting that too when it is shipping. They say it is in final beta testing, so maybe this year? Anyway, their Facebook says: "We have more models to come", so I'm very curious what those will be since they completed the Moog Sound Studio trio. Any thoughts?
  2. Well, it could be a complex problem. But it seems to me that Ableton has trouble with fullscreen mode of other applications. If I adjust the screensize to slightly less than fullscreen, the problem is gone. So it is not the application itself. And it would be EVERY application, which makes it no application.
  3. Does anyone have experience with Claro. That one has my interest.

    SSL Meter

I think this meter is specifically targeted at those who use the 360 environment. Still not worth the $99 though.
  5. Another week, another jam. Nothing very special, some melodic techno. But I'm pleased with the result. Some live playing of the Microfreak. I messed up (again) and pressed 2 keys at once with my butterfingers, but luckily it was a repetitive melody so I could do some editing. A lot of focus on the synths, less so on the drums.
  6. Yes and no. I have an issue where the CPU usage shoots to 500% - 1000% (yes, it is possible) which grinds the audio to a halt when I use another application in fullscreen mode while. They could replicate it and filed a bug report, but no solution yet.
  7. You are absolutely right. I'm not concerend. I merely stated that didn't know what was going on and that I thought the situation was kind of funny. I'm sure they'll figure it out.
  8. With all that I spent so far, I'm not buying anything. If they can do these discounts, they probably can match it with BF.
  9. If you're a Windows user you can just uninstall in your Apps section. I just did that with the Symphony Essentials.
  10. Right, so Native Access only froze up 3 times up untill now with about 15 products installed. 43 to go. That should be about 9 times forcings NA to quit with task manager and restarting the process. I already install everything seperately (no 'install all'). Good thing I have to stay in because my front door is painted and has to stay open to dry. And the Monaco GP is on. Oh god, I'm literally watching paint dry while installing this 😅
  11. The PA licenses are in your account in the 'Manage your License section'. Haven't found the vouchers yet.
  12. I registered my Komplete serial in Native Access. As soon as I did that I got a promo code for Plugin Alliance. I registered that and it gave extra licenses for plugins I already had and no vouchers for the 29.99 plugins. In Native Acces you can choose what you want to install. The serial number provides you with every product within your chosen tier which you can then choose to install or not.
  13. Thomann, but the mail with the promo code came as soon as I registered in Native Access.
  14. Ah yes, a $2043 voucher. Completely normal. Edit: Ok now what? I don't see any vouchers, no extra licenses, just an email which thanks me for my order. I just threw away THOUSANDS of dollars. 😢 Second and I promise the last edit: I located them, I seem to have 8 licenses of a number of plugins and 5 of another number. Really useful. In case I somehow lose 7 licenses of the Black Box Analog Design HG-2, PA's got me covered 😎 Still no clue what that "three 29.99 EUR "Buy any plug-in" vouchers for use in the Plug-in Alliance online shop" business is all about though.
  15. I hate either Native Instruments, Behringer or Myself. NI do their sale so I HAVE to upgrade. And then I'm stupid enough to accompany that purchase with a purchase of a Maschine controller. Now Behringer comes along and FINALLY releases the Edge. I've been waiting for that one for a couple of years. So that is an instant buy. I'll be eating instant noodles for a month.
  16. Didn't work, you can't order software like hardware. Seems like they saw right through my scheme 🤪
  17. Coincidentally I just picked up a cheap secondhand Maschine Mikro MK3. Basically just with the intention of using my NI stuff more. Should be fun.
  18. It is still €299 for me at Thomann. So it's a matter of exchange rate where it will be cheaper. On the other hand, if I order at Thomann I can order a couple of cables and dustcovers in the same order to get to the minimum order amount to avoid shipping costs. And I noticed this in the description for the upgrade to CE: "Includes a 25.00 EUR voucher for the Native Instruments online shop and three 29.99 EUR "Buy any plug-in" vouchers for use in the Plug-in Alliance online shop".
  19. I need that Nocturnal Beats expansion for my hybrid orchestral dubstep Bulgarian folk dub industrial hip-hop. Don't judge me. You don't know me!
  20. 300 for the upgrade from Ultimate to Ultimate CE. I think I will bite. To much good stuff there I would like to pay with. I've got a separate license for Arkhis a while back, so I will have that double. Does anyone know what the resell policy/process is? Edit: I will wait and see if there's perhaps a better deal with the JRR code or Audiodeluxe bucks.
  21. Haha I watched this yesterday. It convinced me it was not of interest to me. So I'm all good.
  22. I have everything besides the Firewood piano. Which is €20 as an upgrade. Which is a discount of €10 on an Originals. Tempting, but I don't know if I got use for it.
  23. Well, that's just it, I feel you have to be a very serious Live user ánd/or use this live (note the lack of a capital l) to justify the price fully. I don't know, but €949 for a MIDI controller is serious money. Even if it is MPE. If it was 200-300 less I probably would buy it and sell my Push 2. I will stick with my Push 2 for now. Which I don't use enough as it is. If i were to perform live (well I do, but not yet with the Push or Ableton's session view), this would be a very tempting piece of kit though. I hate the word gamechanger, but at least I have the feeling they are raising the bar and setting a standard here.
  24. https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/leapwing-centerone.html Normal price $199.99, sale $149.99. Use code CENTERONE-11999 to get it for $119.99. Sadly, Forever29 doesn't work 😔
  25. Here we go again. I tried to make something mellow but with big synths. Then I decided it needed something that sparked interest. Thank god for the Sub37. I made a nice patch which cut through the mix nicely. Then I decided to modulate it with an LFO and it made things a lot more interesting. So much so that live modulating was the way to go. Had to learn the G minor scale pretty quick to play live. I think it went pretty well. I cut out playing 1-2 beats too early, but hey, it's live. The triplet tempo signature adds a nice flow.
