Yeah their audio demos have always been less than ideal. Even the X-Eight videos they have had for years don't really show the sounds. The plugins themselves that I've tried are actually pretty nice sounding. Thenatan really does to step up his audio demo game though - could sell SO many more, I'm sure!

I still have this freebie UVI Cowbell from a few years back that sounds great, but takes up, as I recall, at least a gig! No more cowbell!😁
Luckily, this one is like 11 MB.

And this deal works even if you've done a trial before. Though it seems to be slightly different. $1.50 per month for two months. Then regular price. The details show up when you get to the payment page. Can't complain it's still a good deal! And you get the free Bass Master plugin which is fantastic!

The only thing about deals like this is I forget about them and then suddenly there's a bill.
I subscribe for a month and say "OK Google, remind me to cancel (whatever) in 3 weeks." (and adjust the number of weeks depending on how many months). Haven't had a surprise bill... so far. I mean, I know it will likely happen at some point but has worked like a charm. It takes only a second and can be done by voice while you're using your hands to place the order for the trial, so I think that's why it works well. Of course, if you don't have a Google Home, doing this will be completely useless lol

Indeed, finally! Hopefully they changed the sound too. They are light years beyond where the were when they launched it.
I find it sounds WAY better!

the last one was upgradable to more? maybe i should look at picking up one from their outlet store. i stayed away b/c of the T2 chip.
Yeah if you check the Mac Mini page on the Apple site, they still have the older one listed at the bottom of the list... and it's upgradeable to 64 GB (on purchase - the original ones you could upgrade yourself afterwards but now... it's the whole soldering the RAM in so you can't change it afterwards thing). The whole machine is quite a bit more expensive than the ones they just announced, though.

so a maxed out Mini adds up to $2,149.00 kanaki $'s. and it's all soldered to the bone and un-upgradable.
And now with a maximum 16GB of RAM to make sure you can't keep it too long before you have to get a new one 😂

Yeah Studiorack is still on V11. I saw a note somewhere on the Waves site mentioning it will be updated to V12 later.

Thanks for the post. Was so happy to upgrade! Until I upgraded.... Anyone else have issues with a white screen showing up instead of the UI on a Mac? No matter which V12 plugin I try to load, AU or VST3, just has a white box when I open it up.

Yeah that's also what confused me haha
Enjoy! I might try it out too and hope for the best!

and you can test it fully without restrictions right now.
Has this on the site and it isn't really clear. Is it free or a trial?
