Probably not reverbs.  However, it is possible to have too many licence managers.....

People spent so much time complaining about iLok, which likely pushed many developers to create their own. Even though iLok isn't perfect, I preferred having just that for multiple developers instead of 40 gajillion license managers running all the time. Bring back iLok! There I said it! 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly I thought development was over for that plugin. I've been moving most of my custom instruments to DecentSampler. Good to know it's still a thing. Thanks!

Is it tough to convert your instruments from one to another?

  3. Interesting that you'd mention that because I was speaking with my Sweetwater rep recently and we noticed I had paid $225 for T-RackS 24 when it was released many years ago. Way more than I remembered it being. I can't complain because I was using Reason exclusively as a DAW at the time and there were no mastering tools in it yet. The mastering I did with T-RackS got me some great placements on  TV shows over the years. But yeah, it was expensive!

  4. They mentioned it a few times in the e-mails. A relatively well-known developer stepped up and bought them out to keep things going. I'm happy about that since I love their plugins and drums.

  5. Awesome, thanks for posting this! I didn't have it. When installing it, I noticed almost all of their plugins had been updated so I did that at the same time.

  6. It wasn't in my account either but then I saw:

"if you are a registered customer of the Novation Launchkey MK4, FLKey, or SL MK3, Novation and GForce are delighted to offer you this plugin for free. Simply log in to your Novation account for more information!"

So it looks like it's only for specfic registered products.

I keep seeing Joe Chiccarelli Vocal Strip and tempted

I use it a lot and love it! The compression just bring things out and sounds great right away without needing to change much. There are occasional times where it just doesn't fit a vocal track I'm working on but most of the time, it works amazingly well!

  8. Welcome back, king!

    Also:

Get GForce Axxess FREE with any purchase when you enter coupon code "FreeAxxess" on the checkout page. Ends February 28, 2025.

Though I'm assuming it would remove the GROUP code.

You have to add https://www.jrrshop.com/gforce-axxess to your cart to be able to use the coupon and the price will be $99.99 for both (so I guess you get the synth for $16 instead of the discount).

Not sure what is means "not let me use them".   I've never had that issue.

He's talking about the Gear Credits, which is a whole other complicated thing where you can basically prepay to use them to buy some devices and pedals, but only works on some.

I don't know why he can't use them, though.

Maybe all of the good stuff isn't available by using them.

  11. Yeah, I just got that e-mail, too. The e-mail I (as well as many others I'm sure) had received with the code was from them directly (a long time ago). I guess they forgot to cancel the coupon. I don't like them accusing people of stealing for an error they made, instead of working with the developer to cancel the license keys, as is usually done when things like this happen. Such a weird e-mail to send, and an odd guilt-ridden way to handle this situation. Definitely not impressed with APD right now.
