  1. Jesse does the Blues! Hot dog --- I luv it!!! Are you singing through the harp into the mike -- if so, sounds cool! The guitar distortion sounds just like Hound Dog Taylor! You're the most man!!
  2. Excellent power rocker. Great instrumental playing, vocals, mix, arrangement, etc., etc. Really liked the changes and the background vocals.
  3. I don't know if you recall the Allman Joys (precursors to the Allman Brothers). In their early days they played the J-Ville, Daytona Beach and N E of Florida. This song just reminded me a bit of some of their early stuff. I agree with you on "not too far" north. Being on the west coast of FL I find that Brooksville is too far north in the winter. Anyway great song, I enjoyed it!

    September Nights

This is a really nice number that you have come up with. It certainly brought back memories of the early 1960's soft sound surf music. For some reason (I guess the use of the whammy bar) reminded me of the softer side of the Eliminators. Very nice work indeed!
  5. Outstanding! That is the best voyage that I have been on for quite some time. I don't know that I have ever heard a funky style of space themed music but boy does it work in this creative work! Video and music were excellent! Well done!!
  6. Very nice and soothing indeed! It brought up a few images for me (e.g., at first Christmas bells, then new growth in spring, etc.). I don't know what Kontakt freebie that you were using but you made it sound good. A lovely piece and good work!
  7. Here is a simple straight forward rocking, bluesabilly style song. It is primitive, uncomplicated, and was just plain fun to do. It tells a story of an absoflippinlutely crazy storm and a dip that my 1957 Ford took in a drainage ditch. I was on my way back to Tampa after visiting my future wife (and current wife) in Miami. I had intended to visit my family in Port Charlotte but it didn't work out quite as I had intended. BTW, the little swim that my Ford took in the drainage ditch cracked its engine block and I had to get rid of it. Anyway I had fun doing this and I hope that you might enjoy the listen. As always, I will appreciate any suggestions for improvement, comments, crit.'s, etc. Thanks! JUST SOUTH OF FORT MYERS https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandid=963481

At first I was scratching my head but the more that I listened the better I liked it. By the end it had me. Well done! Interesting falsetto vocals. Well done!
  9. Excellent song! Being a FL guy I can appreciate that Northeast FL (Jacksonville) sound. Excellent song and excellent work!
  10. I always look forward to listening (and watching) your postings. As always, this one is excellent. I am trying to think of whom or what band I am reminded of in the intro. Maybe XTC --- I dunno?
  11. Excellent song as is the playing. Congratulations on the Creative Sauce Featured Artist --- well deserved!

Beyond my comprehension but I know good musical work when I hear it. Very good indeed!
  13. This is a nice "cool, breezy" relaxing type of song. Sounds good but I agree with Jack above -- a bit more instrumentation with melody might add to to the song. It depends upon what you were looking to do. Nice one!
  14. You tell a great story Barry (great lyrics). You do have a great vocal timber and presentation --- so, a wee bit of pitchy was a minor thing for me. BTW, being chronologically and geriatically (sp?) challenged -- for me vocals are always a problem. Luv the guitar breaks and the separation on the mix. Well done!
  15. Hi Jack C. Thanks for being the first to respond. I appreciate your comments!! Hi tom. Thank you. I always appreciate your suggestions. I've written them down and will pull them out when I get back to work on this one again! Hey Make. Thank you very much. I appreciate your taking time to listen and comment. Hey Lynn. I was going for the late '50's/early '60's sound of the 4 to 5 piece combo that would breeze through town on a road tour. Thanks for the encouragement! Hi Bjorn. Thank you very much. I was having too much fun doing the song to pay attention as to whether it was decent or not. I'm glad that it worked out to be at least adequate. BTW, I enjoyed your recent post. Thanks David. I appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment. It indeed was fun to do. Thanks for listening to Global Climate change also! High Paul. "...green with envy" good one!! I love puns! Thanks for you kind comments and for listening. BTW, love your recent post.

I thought that I had commented on this song but I didn't see my name above. This is a nice cheery song with some great lyrics. Great vocals and mix --- what's not to like!? Nice one indeed.

Love the Brazilian sounds of this song. I too enjoy the sound of Jobim and you have done an excellent job on this joyful, breezy song. Excellent playing and the mix sounds great to me. Well done!
  18. Perfect indeed. Luv the intro and the interesting chord sections. The volume on the vocal was spot on. Cool stuff pal.
  19. A fun, clever, and interesting song. Well done indeed! BTW, as guitarists, violinists, banjo players bass players (that one is for Bapu), pianists, etc. have always known - it is the vibration of strings that makes the universe happy.
  20. AAh Bjorn -- you have been posting such creative and interesting stuff! I guess that since I too suffer from "Too Much To Dream" at night I found this song particularly interesting. I can't wait for the video!
  21. BTW, and an afterthought (after another listen that is). Great work on the finger picking!
  22. Quite a re-work and clever interpretation of the original. Very impressive and imaginative cover, indeed!
  23. This is intentionally a very simple, basic song. It is a little story about a girl who has been hearing rumours that her boy has been cheating on her. The song is his response. Ya, I know, this is a common theme in many songs. It is done up in a style that might be described as Bluesabilly meets mid 1960's Bubblegum. Ya, I know -- bad idea. Clocking in at 2:49 it is a brief listen compared to my previous posting of almost 8:00. Anyway, it is just for fun and I certainly had fun putting it together. As always, I would appreciate any feedback as I am still learning this stuff. THANKS! BABY'S GOT RED EYES https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandid=963481
  24. I too like this one. There is a lot going on but the central theme brings it back home to briefly settle for another aural adventure in this song. Nice!! Oh ya, what are those horns?
