    HATE

Fred, I like the change of pace in this song, yet you were able to maintain your classic flavor. Your lyrics couldn't be more timely! You are onto something!! I like the way you flipped hate into love
  2. Very lovely song, Glenn! I like this style of music, and your voice fits it very well. I like the sax part, but not sure about that particular sample (if it was a sample). Kudos on the backup vocals and lyrics, too!
  3. Wow, you made good use of this great software, Steve. This is a lovely song which could only be better if your vocal was a little louder to showcase your incredible voice. I hope this is a springboard for your prolific songwriting! Keep it up
  4. Greg, you've received some good advice which can help you in the long run. However, without hearing a sample of your vocals, it's nearly impossible to give you precise advice. You might get better help if you posted a sample of your song or vocal for our ears to hear on our systems. I know that many singers don't like the sound of their own voice, yet others might like it anyway. I used to be that way until I discovered that it was my ears that were faulty and not my equipment or room. Eventually, I learned to overcome that disability by posting songs on the song forum, and I learned from a consensus of opinions where my weakness was and made adjustments accordingly. I'm not saying your ears are bad; just that sometimes ears need a little training. It's like getting used to your monitors and knowing their strengths and weaknesses. Good luck!
  5. This song gets shorter each time I listen to it. Superb!
  6. Good job! I'm looking forward to more.
  7. Terrific! Keep it going!
  8. This is very poignant and mesmerizing! This is the kind of soundtrack that should win an Oscar or Grammy! A+
  9. Now you've gotten all commercial on us... I knew we were at the doorstep when Beyonce went country~~~ That being said, this is too cool for words!
  10. Super yet alarming! Congrats on your accomplishments, Nigel! They're well deserved. Love this!!
  11. Gary, I actually like either version which just shows that there are many interpretations of a classic that are viable. I use ARC 3 software; I wonder if there's a big enough difference in the hardware version vs. the software version of ARC to be worth upgrading to. You have proven the worth of the system!
  12. I like the way it sucked me in, and then it changed and held my interest. Very nice textures in this one. You never seem to run out of ideas!
  13. This is one of your best, Kevin. I very much like it as is. Sometimes you need a longer song in your catalog to balance things out. The mix is spot on! Take a bow.
  14. You're on a roll! I love the subtle backing vocals that Elizabeth did in this. Keep 'em coming!
  15. Terrific job on this, Ross! You've taken possession of this song and made it your own. Take a bow.
  16. I want to thank Daryl and Ed for asking me to join this project! When you have a song this good, it's easier to find inspiration.
  17. This has always been one of my favorite SD tunes, and you did it justice! Kudos!!
  18. Very catchy and well performed. I like the energy of your vocal; it's full of good vibes! You two mesh well together. Encore!
  19. Thank you, Steve! It's always great to be appreciated by a super musician like you. I've been enjoying your latest round of music!
  20. Tom, your words are much appreciated! I wasn't sure how this song would be received here, and it took several months to find a mix that I could live with. You and the community here have greatly encouraged me.
  21. "Considering the financial journey, I don't think we're gonna perpetual licenses. They don't provide the instant profit shareholders demand and fail to keep users tied to an ancient piece of software which hasn't received significant updates for the last 20 years." Perhaps you missed ripple editing, articulation maps, tempo tracks, and numerous stability fixes while it's been free Maybe you're barking up the wrong tree? My version runs better than it ever did before Bandlab took over
  22. It shows in my PC f/x chain. This is the only way I use MG2. It may be some simple thing you are overlooking. Good luck.
  23. Thank you, Bruce, for dropping by with your encouraging words! This forum gets a lot of credit for their good ideas and good ears.
  24. Jeff, thank you very much for your idea. I did raise the drums a little, and I like the result. Good ears!!

    Mystery

Such a satisfying song. This just keeps playing in my head (in a good way), the way a good song should. Encore!
