  1. I have both, I'll compare them. Just don't hold your breath on my timing LOL. Oh and, still waiting on JRR to get me the code.
  2. Sub makes this one a Meh, oh well :).
  3. Great find!. Thank you. £11 for me.
  4. Oi VAY! Want it, much cheaper though, I paid for last version upgrade...
  5. Grabbed this, soundtoys are excellent!. Exchange rate is slightly up, so £25 for me :).
  6. Yes Grem, burlap. I made those myself. Wooden frame filled with rock wool. They really do work very well. Cheers, Tony
  7. Most of what I’ve done is to lower neighbour issues, however, the drums sound tight. I wanted to play live and I can. Real bass traps are larger and heavier. But those (Auralex I think) do disperse some and absorb some.
  8. And the desk. Due to file size restrictions..
  9. Hi folks, We moved house, no more rental!!, yeah. I was going to splash out and build a soundproof studio. Then I began thinking more about the state of things. This is my compromise, I went with a big old Zaor 88XL desk so I could have my rd2000 handy. Brought my acoustic drums back into play and I have my eleven rack sitting there in a floor rack with some other stuff. Huge savings and the room is actually not a problem. Neighbours tell me they can hardly hear me, Bonus.
  10. Shows to go doesn’t it. Resoundingly spanked as they definitely were, about face, quick march!!.
  11. No running around after upwardly mobile IT goddess wife actually lol.
  12. I have a valid excuse 60 moves in 35 years 8 times around the world to 4 different countries/states in those said countries. I'm sticking to that excuse, for now :).
  13. I did WUP In October.. and I am being very good all around, other than hardware :)). I only did an update (at LONG last) TO Soundtoys 5.3 from just having Little Alter Boy. They finally up-graded me for a really good price, unlike previous silliness. I feel like a scrooge compared to others here LOL.
  14. And, $199 if you have a previous single plugin, and upgrade. I was tempted, but I am sticking to my guns.... Edit: and.. I caved in. Decided a good chance to get whole set. Great set and my final cost was £183.00 so bargain :).
  15. I shouldn't buy more drums, I shouldn't buy more drums.. et al. OOps... too late
  16. Thanks Tele, may or may not tempt me I suppose. I've been ploughing most of my recent money into hardware..
  17. I have version 7. So, for £99 to go to version 9. Is it worth it?, what will I get that makes it worth the cost?.
  18. The BIG issue I have with the idea of a USB mic is the quality (lack there of) of a lot of USB ports to this day, and controller for said ports. I’ll stick to proper mics with XLR ports and cables. I think the concept is a nice easy fix for some people.. but. Nope.
  19. And, here it is. Going to make my own patches as a priority. Sounds great though.
  20. I was going to say, no one is going to equal Bapu :). I am a mere 900 or so I think. Don't use anywhere near that many of them, of course LOL.
