Yeah neither my Command Center nor my legacy My Products show a 64 bit option or download. Just my serial & registration numbers and links to older updates . Not even the 32 bit shows a download. In fact what I'm running now comes from my old, boxed DVD backups I made onto SSD (possibly w/ updates around). Pretty cool to have a hardcopy of the manual, still! How would I reach out to whom you call the bakers? I haven't really known what's going on since Roland, lol. It's kind of funny... I cherished my old Editrol UA-25, and now (after it finally died) I have a Volt 2 also beginning with the letters "UA".

Thanks to everybody for your great feedback. Having dipped my head into what's around these days I find a lot to explore, but I'm glad to see something like Dimension Pro and Rapture still get use and love. Rapture crashes on me a bit more from machine to machine (when one PC breaks down I outfit a new one) but I've never been able to resist using it. That would be pretty cool to see them embraced anew by new Cakewalk.

I wish Dimension Pro were not sort of old and probably doomed (or not?). I'm only now really getting into looking at creating new instruments with it (in the distant past I just used presets). For some reason I could not get the installer to realize my Windows 11 machine was 64 bit and it would only offer to put one version (mind you this was my paid DVD backed up on SSD) in the (x86) area, so only the 32-bit version got installed. Still, I don't expect problems if this is all I can easily get working. Today's hardware should be able to run the 32 bit version pretty efficiently compared to average resources at the time. I'm just glad it finally looked at the Disk 2 contents when installing. I was messing with the folder to get the installer to see it and made it invisible but suddenly the installer saw it and finished the installation. I'll take it! Was there an installer update... is that why my DVD version is only offering 32 bit but I remember having 64 in the past...? I only found updates to the existing ware, and I'm up to v1.5 somehow. Like I say... if it's hard to get 64 bit installed, I'm happy the 32 bit is working greatly. Some of the addons always wind up automatically directed to a wrong folder but I can chase them down and move them if serious about it. Lo Fi is apparently not a new interest, lol. 2005 software and Dimension Pro was already right there with a Lo Fi-ification resource! In 2005 I was still too used to running *away* from lower bit rates. Anyone else love or still love Dimension Pro? Or just Kontakt etc. now...?

Update: I've lucked up by not really identifying the problem, but --- a clean install first caused an endless Bandlab screen (not sure what I did) but Praised be the Bringer of all that is Good and Righteous --- a second clean install per https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034066393-Clean-Install-Cakewalk-by-BandLab ... fixed everything. They're all there!!! UAD, Brainworx, iZotope I am so very thankful to every one of you who helped. Viva la Cakewalk! Cakewalk fan since 1989. Weird to see it leave Roland but it seems to still have the very coolest people buzzing about it in both an official and unofficial capacity. That and having it work is all that matters. Thank you

BitFlipper thanks... I want to pull up my bootstraps enough to rise to the occasion (and this not be over my head). Per your reply, I did the reset and then scan, both times with the Generate Scan Log checked. I must admit I'm foggy on the exact use of % signs in OS folder paths (I reckon they're wildcards that help look anywhere it finds the key folder?) and I noticed this by default in the VST folder paths in Cakewalk VST scan paths: %localappdata%\programs\common\vst3 but anyway (I assume that's normal and not an issue) More importantly -- with me ineptly at the admin helm, my computer isn't finding file: %appdata%\Cakewalk\Logs\VstScan.log and when I go to search it, it seems we stop at: %appdata%\Cakewalk\L... where it finds: %appdata%\Cakewalk\Library (but no Cakewalk\Logs folder alphabetically thereafter) it finds this under Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk Please let me know if I'm not generating or looking for the file correctly, I'd really appreciate it. If I just search for VstScan.log it sends me to Bing like there's no file. Also I checked Show Excluded (both with or without Show Permanently Excluded checked as well) and can't get anything to show. 1) What I don't understand is how Cubase can see them okay, if it's any issue with missing dependencies, or Windows permissions. 2) The Cakewalk Scan Path seems okay because : c:\program files\common files\vst3\ ...is in there, where Brainworx and other plugins in there are being seen and populated. Cakewalk just ignores anything in that same path's subfolder for izotope: c:\program files\common files\vst3\izotope as well as UAD ones like c:\program files\common files\vst3\uaudio_oxidetape.vst3\ (that one gives me the creeps having a period . in the folder name (??) that's the folder name, not the final .vst3 file located a tier or two therein) ...so if I'm correct, the vst scan path list can't be the issue, because it's finding & populating other plugins one, two, three tiers deep into that same folder in question (instruments for midi tracks, and fx for audio tracks, alike). Yet I can't get any exclusions to list. Regarding the log file, though, I'm still wondering what I'm doing wrong to find or generate that. Thank you for your help. This is so strange. I did verify Ozone etc. works fine in Cubase which I do not want to switch to at all. I'll try anything to stay with Cakewalk.

I appreciate all the comments (still having issues with anything in the iZotope folder, but it now sees the two iZo products that are in the Steinberg folder)... I'm a huge Cakewalk fan and have used it since the late 80's. I used Voyetra, then Cakewalk from then on. My last Roland Cakewalk was Sonar 8 Studio which is kinda still working but doesn't like my UA Volt2 in Windows 11. -- Anyway anyway: I just realized UAD products are also failing to show in Cakewalk, in addition to most iZotope ones, after thorough steps described. Out of the following iZotope products: Nectar 4 Elements Neutron 4 Elements RX 10 Elements VocalSynth2 Neoverb Ozone 11 Elements Stutter Edit 2 ... I have managed to get just Neoverb and VocalSynth to show up in Cakewalk by Bandlab, by using Plugin Manager. When I click them, it shows me: it's listing those in: c:\program files\steinberg\vstplugins while all the others are being ignored in: c:\program files\common files\vst3 ...and/or c:\program files\common files\vst3\izotope ... of course I've added one or both paths and it's just ignoring what's in there, except other brands pf plugins that are in there, working fine. A lot of stuff that's not iZotope or UAD are showing fine in Cakewalk, from c:\program files\common files\vst3 I reset and re-scan (with correct paths added) both from Plugin Manager and/or , Edit, Preferences, VST Settings. I tried reinstalling iZotope Product Portal and even re-installing Ozone, but it doesn't help, even if I go back and re-scan in Cakewalk. Did the same with the UAD stuff. Go figure everything that is stubborn is all (today) NI owned. Really stinks... just bought all those Izo products. I should have known why the big sale. Been downgraded to NI support and I didn't know that would stink. Test -- all the missing iZotope and UAD plugins show fine in Cubase trial. I just hope to God I can get them working in Cakewalk because I don't like the Cubase layout at all and don't want to have to learn all over gain. Thanks for your help. Not sure what else can be done at this point. I'll try uninstalling and re-installing Cakewalk. I did accidentally install VST2's but I thought that just caused extra scanning. I've deleted all the ones I'll never use. Cakewalk is set to ignore all VST2's that have a VST3 version present.

I purchased products and/or a bundle including: Nectar 4 Elements Neutron 4 Elements RX 10 Elements VocalSynth2 Neoverb Ozone 11 Elements Stutter Edit 2 All show “Installed” in iZotope Product portal in Windows 11 I cannot get any of it to show in Cakewalk by Bandlab despite including the file paths (Edit – Preferences – VST Settings – VST Scan Paths... where I see the plugins, namely: c:\program files\steinberg\vstplugins and: c:\program files\common files\vst3\ izotope (and the usual other VST paths, for other brands) (cakewalk changes all path characters to lowercase but it works fine for all other plugins) I see all the iZotope .dll files in these folders ... ...but why are no iZotope plugins showing in Cakewalk like all others, when looking in said, correct folders? Thanks... it's nice to know the "Juno" reference, too. There is so little available as far as literature for the Poly D, since most of the questions would be answered in studying what it's a clone of (Minimoog Model D) , but as for the Chorus (and thus any stereo) I didn't know what the inspiration was. Now I see those same buttons on Juno clone pedals. Much appreciated. That OB-X8 with the pan-spread of oscillators sounded interesting so I looked it up. That's "a pricey a'meatball, ah?!". I guess it inspired the Behringer UB-Xa clone, and I see the mono as well as the L and R, like you said about the original Oberheim. I'm lucky I didnt see that when I was shopping. The Poly D will keep me busy; the inspiration to get an affordable analog synth (instead of just plugins) was BBC Radiophonic Workshop's work on original Hitchiker's Guide soundtracks, and the more synthy versions of Journey of the Sorcerer used as the theme song . I practice banjo (as in said song) which may fit into space gaming music more than some might think, hehe. Thanks to everyone for replying. Sure enough, so far, the only visual difference I've noticed between L and R wave forms (as in David's suggestion) is with the Chorus engaged.

Believe it or not I've tried searching this, and all 2023 AI can do is think I'm asking about monophony vs. polyphony. Is there any difference between the left and right output channels on these analog synths, like pseudo-stereo effects with anything selected? The Poly D manual shows recording as both channels being run into an interface, but with live band practice they're just running one channel into an amp. I had an okay interface in just having a Focusrite Scarlett Solo, but its two inputs are balanced and unbalanced. Same goes for a Headrush Gigboard my guitarist brother gave me (fun with flutes, synths, banjo, lyre harp...) which has just one 1/4" mono input (usually for guitar). It has stereo input, but it's 1/8" which is hard to imagine using indefinitely (despite the fact the electronics get smaller than that inside...so I'm still wondering why it matters but I'm told it does). Since this is a Cakewalk forum I'll state my favorite interface for a decade was the Edirol (Roland) UA-25 that finally started making noise. As to have actual 1/4" left and right inputs, again, I caved and got a AU Volt 2 (since a Focusrite 2i2 has no midi in/out and I wanted it for my theremin and things). But I still want to know if the left and right channels of my Poly D synth are ever anything but identical. If recording with L and R are no different than recording R and then then copying it to a L channel, I won't feel like I'm missing anything subtle when I feel like playing with the Gigboard with just mono in and stereo out created by the Gigboard. If there is any pseudo-stereo going on with the Poly D, I'll usually just run the Volt 2 with both channels and apply other fx later. Thanks Jeff

Hello, You're quite polite but sometimes if someone isn't exactly sure what you mean, and they're not being extra nice (like some folks) they just don't reply. I know. It's frustrating. When people won't reply to me I would rather they just told me what the issue was, instead of keeping me wondering. Personally, I'm not sure what you mean, but I respect your curiosity and desire to create. I can hear what sounds like her just actually vocalizing certain phonemes, herself, with nothing special but multiple tracks and some everyday fx that I need my headphones to perceive better, but I wouldn't think it's anything more than a couple of garden variety fx whether it's doubling, modulation, a hint of chorus or something, but I'm not hearing anything that sounds like alien voices. Different tracks where she's singing differently, combined, with slightly higher and lower vocals tightly voicing the same things simultaneously as one voice, is a little eerie. But maybe I'd hear more after I open my Yamaha headphones the day after tomorrow, hehe...
