  1. Not to be too much of a downer but during the floods when these were lost people had to think of the children unfortunately. Bad times there, I thought I got a lot of flooding here in the southern U.S. but then I think about some of the things that have gone down in our neck of the woods in Italy and I stop complaining!
  2. Some of them were not directly replaceable but they are looking into what can be done if the vintage cabs with the right specs etc can be found. And some cost more "dosh" than we've made in the group buy so far and then some.
  3. Amp impedance and improved cabinets apply to all gear (except some of the AT Metal cabinets that were unfortunately lost in a flood and could not be re-measured for the new huge # of IR system).
  4. AmpliTube 5 will give you the new gear and features and your existing collections will load inside it and take advantage of those features so you'd be all set. These are included in AmpliTube 5 MAX: Fender® Collection 1 & 2 AmpliTube SVX 1 & 2 AmpliTube Orange® AmpliTube Mesa/Boogie® AmpliTube Slash AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix™ AmpliTube Brian May Dimebag Darrell CFH Collection AmpliTube Joe Satriani Fulltone® Collection AmpliTube Leslie® If you have all of those (or all you need from among those), AmpliTube 5 is all you need to have everything. The new gear in AmpliTube 5 is nice too, people tend to like those. This video features the new gear so you can hear it in action:
  5. It won't be a huge part of it. If your song is too amazing to get over not having a "slick" video (which actually isn't really a requirement - might not even impress as intended if it is too slick, etc anyway) that would shine through. I'd suggest using something quick for the video like using stills and the basic "Ken Burns" effect available in basic tools like iMovie and similar if you have trouble with the video aspect. Song first. That's why video quality is last on the list.
  6. I know @InstrEd was just fishing for a response, so I guess I shouldn't have taken the bait but I needed to answer a question and let you all know there's one week left. You can use it anywhere within the piece, it does not need to be solely SampleTank. But they didn't get the "same hundreds" at all. ❓ There were very specific parameters (large purchases of MAX products or TS2 MAX - the latter getting the largest amount off) to get the coupon applied for $100 or $200 off. And if you buy one plugin, it would have to be damn expensive to get you enough JamPoints for "the same 30%" off of TS3 MAX Crossgrade at $599.99 -meaning you'd need 180 JamPoints... I don't know of that "1 Plugin" we sell that costs $3,600 but that's what you'd need to buy to get your 180 JamPoints for 30% off of $599.99. I guess song lyrics aren't meant to be accurate representations of reality anyway in many cases
  7. Whew. The Release Notes tab saying 1.1.0 wasn't a joke but was fixed promptly at least I would report your issue to IK Support, make sure you rebooted everything after the update as well. Like @telecode 101 I'm not having issues with this update either.
  8. There are other features that are limited/not included, the easiest way to see and compare is via the charts on the AmpliTube 5 page. Edit - but if updated amp impedance is what is being mentioned/asked about, that is in AT5 CS.
  9. CS doesn't have the new VIR technology with the 140,000+ IRs either
  10. Oooooh yes Bernard Purdie slipped my mind. We also lost a great one about four years ago, but funk drumming (and the many other genres that sampled him) would be nowhere near where it is without Clyde Stubblefield.
  11. The top tier will be 25 for the price of 1. When we get closer we will show the later tiers. You can see precisely what is in each AmpliTube 5 on the page (<--- click "AmpliTube 5" to go there). Each mic does not need to be calibrated but as noted in replies from others (like the quote below) MEMS microphones are consistent so each of the units is very consistent and works very well with ARC 3. You can use the MEMS mic from iLoud MTM or the one sold separately from us without issue. I wouldn't recommend a random MEMS microphone but you can also use any measurement mic that has a measurement file available.
  12. I will see what I can do, someone should reply to your ticket soon.
  13. Where is this showing, I'm not on a Windows machine at the moment and I'm assuming that is where you might be seeing it? I did report that the Release Notes link in the IK User Area says 1.1.0 so that should be taken care of. But this is definitely a new update. When I can get into the home studio I'll definitely be installing it on my main Windows beast there as I was running into the installation issue that this fixes.
  14. Or truly everything including hardware qualifiers. This year was tough with the component shortage so we have had a hard time keeping units available globally compared to previous years. We're set for the new pedals but we're also making sure we can keep pushing out more and more monitors, interfaces, and can get some of the planned exciting hardware to market as soon as possible.
  15. Love to see love for other drummers even while Neil is a legend. Especially a lot of names that are not always on the tip of everybody's tongue like Jim Keltner, Manu Katché, and others. There are also some more "hired guns" like Paul McCartney's current touring drummer Abe Laboriel Jr (also did a ton of tours with Sting, Seal, and others) who deserve more attention.
  16. Rush shows (and Neil's massive part in the spectacle) were amazing. Started with Signals, personally, and they only got better. I admit it wasn't possible to keep Geddy's voice to stay the course in the later years but if people skipped shows for that they only have themselves to blame for missing legendary performances.
  17. It's not all about you, Rowlf. And THAT'S why you're not getting your free keyboard controller.
  18. Ha I would never hold the counter. However I've been told it is updating every 4-5 hours, I am double checking when the office opens about making sure it updates more frequently if/when possible.
  19. 30% off that "the new guy" doesn't get, hundreds off TS3 MAX, and other efforts notwithstanding, I suppose. Or are those covered in the bridge?
  20. Where did I/we say it should be better? Nobody here is worried. We've been doing these a while. Started Thursday morning US time, note that means that one day delay in key software markets like Japan for starters. We just ended day 3, and we're at 1431. I'd expect we'll all (well all participants who are also confident this will be a success) have another free item to choose on Monday.
  21. I do. But I also didn't see the question and had I it would have been assumed rhetorical. There are products that are not eligible, including these newer collections. The internal decision-making process that led to even the single instruments in those collections that were so recently released being on the list is not something that I'd discuss in public or outside of company walls (real or virtual) anyway.
  22. The new resonator sounds great through AmpliTube 5 too but... alas that one is too new for inclusion (and is a fully third-party-cretaed library by the very talented Tracy Collins).
  23. NFR/free/giveaway items do not qualify, including the Art Deco giveaway, free products that come with other products/hardware (including our own hardware bonuses, AVID Pro Tool subscription bonuses, and similar). Also, the tiers for 25 for the price of 1 are going to take a lot more heavy lifting than what I see here (Edit - I mean the proposed tiers I see here, that wasn't clear)... So for those who want/need the full 25 I'd get pushing
  24. Ha! Then I guess I shouldn't ask ... if there was a Group Buy coming, what software would people want to see included - especially as the best entry point? Oops I just did!
