Whatever happened to that vocal plugin that was teased in December?
-
Made me finally sit down and listen to Snarky Puppy. That's some good stuff.

I have a Computer Music subscription but I'll be damned if I can figure out the answer to either of the filesilo questions for this month's issue. One is the first work in the feature title on p13, but there is no feature title on p13. There was another question about page 20, and a red/orange box, but I could not figure that one out either.
Did some trail and error: Page 13 = Page 16

I still got an active BitWig 3.3 licence (believe it came with Beat at some point last year).
Can I just hang on to the serial number until the next version is released? -

Reactor also has many generative modules.
If you want to go the virtual modular route, VCV Rack and Cherry Audio Modular may be a thing to look into.

Footnote: About a month ago there was a Humble Bundle that included (I think it was approx. 20 USD) included updated, non-SONAR Editions of these three AAS products plus other products all of which are not limited to SONAR/CbB.
I believe you can still get the sessions series for free for signing up at www.soundbetter.com

Is this new, or did they remove features from OVox and slapped a new skin on it?

Plays back demo project on my Ubuntu machine using ALSA driver without glitches, dropouts. I'm impressed.
I'd love to try some music making under Linux. But since I am running a Roland Octacapture it's a no go.

Really, noone is making an effort with their sales anymore are they?

One cool undocumented feature about Waveform is that you can run out of activations on the free version.
Well they did say that the manual would be updated for 11.5. They might have added this feature...
Btw @cclarry: can't see the flash sale
-
@cclarry I am eyeing Vocalisa. Is it worth the price?

I have been piling those for quite a while since a friend gave me a Live Lite 8 key he wasn't gonna use a few years ago.
Haven't we all. Still no trade in for Suite though 😤,🤣

I'll wait patiently for the "Free Ableton 11" post.
Live Lite eventually will be offered for free somewhere..

Dammit, doesn't stack with loyalty points

Reads a bit like an either or:
If you have MTurboReverbLE, you can either use the license to upgrade to a bundle with LE plugins.
Or
Upgrade to the full version.

I believe:
- Analog -> VA
- Collision -> Chromaphone
- Tension -> String Studio
- Electric -> Lounge Lizard
Of those I only have the full version of VA3

How do the AAS made instruments compare to the VSTs?

When they will be ready to release their new player WUPhus
Will we get CLA-Choirs, then a video of CLA ranting how shitty sampled Choirs are?

I think the main question still is... What makes the desktop version of this better than the Arturia Micro freak? The Microfreak is 50 bucks cheaper and has polyphonic aftertouch.
In Europe the price difference is €200

That was changed 1,5 years ago. The only thing they still want the physical dongle for are the perpetual licenses. The subscription is saved in the iLok cloud
