I actually liked vision 1 but they changed the UI a bit and I don't know if I am enjoying my v3 that much. I don't really use complicated tools added over years.

Maybe I should wait until v5?

 

For me the NoteFX,  Note Grid and Modulators make it worth my while to have v4.

And Comping is a new v4 thing I believe...

So what when we've got MODO 1 with MODO 2 CS? can we use the limited patterns with all the basses from 1?

does ModoBass 2 CS also come with the groove player?

No, I have Modo Full, just meant that the actual Custom Shop should get an update too, to add a Tab for MODO Drum.

And I am expecting them to do the same with MODO Bass soon, then.

I would've expected an update for the Custom Shop then too. But that one's not up (yet) ?

So what is the advantage of getting Syntronik 2 SE if one has Syntronik 1 MAX

Don't think that's true. You can use all presets, regardless of the Snapins you have. It's just tweaking them that is not possible
