  1. Are you sure that the folder you installed it to is listed here:
  2. Free Angels would have made a good Halloween release. Some of the sounds are pretty spooky.

    8DIO Soundpaint

I installed it (took about 3minutes) and am using it now. No mess at all!
  4. The addition of Free Angels unlocked my first few Hidden Gems.

    8DIO Soundpaint

Sounpaint has been updated to version 1.02. You can install it from within the app.
  6. I guess it might be wise to set aside some money for additional storage...
  7. The Soundpaint version is available for d/l now...
  8. Very bad!!! Yes, they should have learned from that. And yet they advertise it as an exciting new developmnet for us. Which makes it worse than the eLicenser. My answer is: a moron (completely untethered to the world of modern music making). If this means that I lose the ability to use my current version of Cubase (ver 11) in perpetuity (b/c I will never upgrade again!), then it becomes a Melville-esque scenario:
  9. I think SB may have corrected this problem a few versions ago. But for me it doesn't matter since I've disabled automatic time updates in Windows (and everything else automatic, for that matter).
  10. Why are they going to do this? Is it because: 1. they only trust us for one year 2. they want to force us to visit their site once a year so that they can solicit us 3. they collect our usage stats over the year and then retrieve them at the end of the year? There's no good reason for this policy; it's just another thing to have to worry about.
  11. Definitely not joking (though I may have misunderstood what I read). See this thread for details: https://forums.steinberg.net/t/cubase-12-is-coming-in-2022/748776/29?u=basecu
  12. I really hate the new licensing requirement of having to check-in once a year (or else your copy de-authorizes)!
  13. I love my ST plugins but wish they'd make the GUI resizable -- they're too small on my monitor.
  14. Basically more bells and whistles... Classic: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/bx_masterdesk_classic.html Modern: https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/bx_masterdesk.html
  15. The classic version shows up on my PA Installer:
  16. For me it was $59 (with YNY23) at Waves but only $50 at EveryPlugin.
  17. Yes, free is my favorite price. 😁
  18. https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/bx_masterdesk_classic.html Use Code: BX-FOR-FREE
  19. This may help making decisions what/when to buy (if true)... https://www.steinberg.net/cubase/new-features/
  20. I'm considering getting TAIP having watched the video below. Has anyone here used this plugin? If so, what do you think?
  21. Troels/Soundpaint knows about the issue and will likely fix it. In the meantime, here's a workaround: click slightly inside the plugin GUI and then drag it larger/smaller.
  22. Wow, playing this piano is an absolute joy. It's so lush and realistic. The load times are almost instant, the FXs are fantastic, and the morphing feature is quite cool. It's simply brilliant!
  23. Plugin Alliance Halloween Sale: Any Plugin $29.99* *except all the ones you really want.
  24. Speaking of mud, is it possible to run old Play libraries in Opus yet? The reason I ask is b/c a new version of Opus (1.1) is listed in my EW Installation Center. I installed the previous version (1.0) assuming I could do this, but it would not even load in my DAW much less run any libraries. So now it's a case of I won't get fooled again, no no.
