  1. I don't recall seeing this posted here. I found a pretty decent FREE program to manage my ever increasing hoard of samples/loops. It's ADSR Sample Manager. It does a great job of letting me search and audition the sounds in my many files. Allows you to search by key, tag, BPM, genre, etc. Also it lets you add tags. When you select a file, it shows you the waveform and allows you to preview the sound with the ability to apply some minimal processing to the signal. My favorite such program is actually Loopcloud, however to get all the features of the program enabled you need to become a member.
  2. I believe if you log into Bandlab Asst. and start the program from there (under apps), it will automatically register the program. Afterward you can start the program without going thru Bandlab Asst.
  3. I believe LarsF is right as I recently had a similar situation that had never occurred until a recent update. I setup the screen like I wanted and created a new workplace called "my workplace". Now when I open a project, and with "my workplace" in effect, everything is like I want it.
  4. Thanks scook. I guess I lost the setting I had been using for so long when I reinstalled CbB recently and I couldn't remember how I set it in the first place.
  5. Up until recently, when I exited a project, the screen layout I was using was saved and would be exactly the same when I reopened the project. I would generally have from left to right, the "inspector", the "midi track pane" with "all" selected, the "clips pane", and the "browser and synth rack". Now when reopening a project, the inspector is collapsed to the left, the midi track pane is no longer the size I had previously selected and track control preset is now on workplace instead of all. The synth rack is also no longer showing. How can I lock these settings so the screen looks the same each time I open a project?
  6. I tend to agree, it should be CbB as you stated.
  7. I see people here refer to CdB which seems to be a reference to Cakewalk by Bandlab. But what does this acronym stand for?
