In the same future where Amazon stands alone as the only retail source for guitar strings, nobody will be playing actual guitar anymore. -

Sears didn't trick you into buying a hockey puck for your living room that listens to all your conversations. -
Thanks for the update!

this Thing is quite useful and easier than using an EQ.

How can you feel the liberation of culling your plugin collection, if you don't obsessively overpurchase plugins to begin with? Anything by Softube, Fabfilter, and that Gullfoss thing: Most of my Waves and Izotope:

No Musicman. I fear your collection is not complete. Prepare thy credit card.

For the record, I didn't think it was you, or your story, that was b.s. and thank you for your explanation! I thought it was b.s. how you were treated, being charged a fee under a non-existing contract clause. That's total b.s. !!! And now for something more suitable, yet still related:

What happened to Collins, and the band, and the hyphen?

That is, in my legal opinion, b.s. . . . which Corp screwed you thus?

What a beautiful song! One little thing that you might consider is a rephrasing of the words "in it" and "minute" around the :50 mark. My .02 centavos would be, it would be a stronger cadence to cut those two short, not sustained "innnnnnnnnn -it" as they are. Just a suggestion of course. Your melody really fits perfectly over those chords. Sweet tune. cheers, -Tom

I've noticed that if you use a compressor on a felt piano track, all those mechanical artifacts get amplified, kind of hard to deal with. But I have three of them and I dig the intimate tone.

Maybe this one has more presets?

This works for me big time. In your description you forgot to mention how awesome the guitar work is, how well the guitar noodles are mixed, the spectacularly well thought-out headphone-friendly ear candy, and the intelligence of the arrangement. cheers, -Tom

Coolness of the song's vibe? 10/10 The vocal ideas and treatment are so interesting to listen to. Kind of washes over you, really great. The drums have a great live sound as well. There are spots, just a couple, where the lyric intelligibility gets a tad mushy but then it's a tone poem that still works great. For a mix idea, bass guitar up? and the acoustic guitar might be a little pokey (or under-reverbed?) in the upper end of the eq spectrum. If it were mine, the ending would be a fade out of that last section you have with the "power chord" guitar, as opposed to the fading sustain of that keyboard stab. If that makes any sense. very enjoyable listen! cheers, -Tom

You might consider pro q 3, awesomely featured eq . . .

yes a fun watch, and looks like a very cool editing project ! I like how you got the scenes going on in the oscilloscopes and such. nice mix of a bouncy song! cheers, -Tom -
New linky at top, cleaned the mix, made a vid. Many thanks again.

Is it "this shall"? Or does thistle lower the bp? Another mystery . . . anyways, thanks much!

Thanks! Yeah, like a year maybe? It's a blur inside of a time warp inside of a night terror. Inside of a ground hog.

Howdy Andy! Thanks heaps! Thanks for the tinfoil remark as well, I'm looking forward to a mix cleanup and vid for that one as well. Hope I get to hear some of your new stuff soon?

Getting an 80s vibe, love it. Welcome to the forum. Very cool breakdown guitar interlude. I dig the busy drums keeping it all moving. Nice slippery time signature as well. cheers, -Tom
