Vox isn't entirely the issue I use vox too. But once you combine that with the word "amp" it is no longer about vocals and 100% about one of the most famous guitar amps in the world.

This. I expected a guitar amp sim. Vox Amp and distortion, either they are intentionally trying to get views or created by someone with no guitar experience.

Well the amp I'm sure was super loud in that small room and therefore sensitive to feedback (even though the gain / saturation wasn't that high -harmonics can be insane with them). When he switches the vocal mic off most of that major noise you hear goes away which is a testament to just how loud the amp was compared to a speaking voice even when clean. It will pickup dirty pots and things like that more than other amps, but if your electronics are well shielded, clean, and potted then Wrecks are not "noisy" amps...they are however extremely loud. I measured my friend's Rocket with an Ampeg 4x12 with pre-rolla 30s in it at over 120db about 8-10 feet away with the gain knob a little past 9'oclock.

I've played a few of the "real thing" and there is some truth to no two are alike the basic circuit is much more forgiving than a Trainwreck is when swapping out components. Most ODS models have some fairly similar characteristics that help define the sound and how the controls work. Between particular amps some might have more gain, more compression, and all that kind of stuff so there is some difference but at the same time simply changing mics or mic positions and cabs also dramaticly change the tone and feel of an amp perhpas even more than the changes in components. So in terms of an emulation, I think there is a lot of "does it get the basics" mentality. I'm not one who buys into the hype on these but I do like the voicing of the clean channel more than most other amps. The actual overdrive isn't really my cup of tea as for all the "touchresponsiveness" claims, the reality it isn't anywhere in the same ballpark as a Trainwreck. Dumbles are overly compressed and far less dynamic in a tactical approach. As for the BX vs NA takes. I will say the NA has the less fizzy top end on note decay on clean stuff and some of the functions like "harsh" and the Mic position, mixer and ambient control on the Cabinet tab really help to shape the sound in a way the BX doesn't have built in. (though the smooth filer ca help some like the harsh filder on NA) Note the BX one is made by the same guy. I'll have to spend more time with it, but giving the slight edge to the NA over BX for the sound/feel/adjustability. Either one is a really good amp sim though.

The trick is they are all cheap once you sign up for the newsletters and start getting vouchers, etc. (well that was until they raised the min purchase price). A few years ago I thought they were all out of my price range too until I found out about the way the company operates. Now I own around 90 of them.

FYI I don't think v1 had a serial number. Id imagine proof of purchase would be all it takes to sort it out if PB can't help.

T-Bone 2 - Free update for current owners We intended to just give T-Bone a quick update, but we ended up getting carried away with the whole thing and now it's waaaay more powerful than version 1. It changed from a simple tilt EQ to a full blown Tone Machine. Make sure you actually get the freebies then. The promo clearly stated that any synth acquired via a give away/freebie would not qualify. I know I registered one from a give away and was even a V2 and it did not unlock the GB, I did however pay to get in on the GB.

That is just to select the freebies. In terms of actually installing we have ~180 days from registration to download the absurd size of the content before having to buy another download period.

X1 was a little on the buggy side, buyer beware. 😇

I never used Studio 4 much but upgraded to 5 to get the sibilant reduction tool and now the plugin gets used.

While I think Izotope could do a better job of actually detailing all the modules you do get with the Elements plugins. It isn't difficult to watch a few videos of people using them. I purchased all of them individually over time (at more than $20 per plugin), and then also got full duplication by buying the Soundwide bundle which I might eventually sell off if we discover authorizing it doesn't give the Neutron 4 elements that is about to drop. That said for the asking price I can't think of a single legitimate competitor for that much power and functionality at a professional level for that much money. I would not consider them "demo" versions of the big brothers at all overall. Neutron is a solid channel strip Ozone has an excellent limiter and eq for finalizing duties and the stereoizer is pretty good RX Elements is in theory geared towards removal of noise from vocal tracks, but the "sample noise" function and some tweaking means you can use it on other sources too and is built from the legendary RX platform. Nectar Elements - this is the only one I shouldn't have purchased on its own as I never end up using it with other tools I have.

Wonder if/when this is available through PA.

Honeslty I just spent like 20 minutes simply registering all of them as the free bonus product. Downloading 33 synths at a total of 200 GB individually is not something I'm personally looking forward to. I'm not really complaining about it, but the website did seem to suggest 2 MAX would be provided if they hit the top tier. I honestly wonder why they don't just add it to everyones account that bought in during the GB period. Seems like the easiest thing to do for the company and the customer.

Yep, already had a ticket open. Thanks What seems to be the case as far as I can tell is the program no longer lets you store the vast majority of the content in an external drive spot (or if it does, needs some change to the folder contents to let it happen). But will see what support says.

The instructions list multiple paths yet the user is only able to select a single path, so which is it suposed to be? I setup my sound content on an external drive. I moved all the new download packs there also, and scanning the folder does nothing.
