They are not quite the same thing.  Normalizer is for gain staging your tracks and AutoGain does volume rides to even it out. I picked up Normalizer  a while ago because of this video on the Hornet site.

Indeed, but I think between VU Meter and AutoGain Pro I should be set ;)

Seems the upgrade pricing to Synth Anthology 4 is no longer available. Thought it might have been possible to upgrade a little cheaper. Probably for the best, I don't really use SA3 anyway.

Didn’t use SA3 either, but SA4 really is something else. Many more synths, much better GUI, and a pretty original way to find similar sounds to the ones you like.

Haha! Do you own it?  Even Lumineers songs would demand more than two layers; they tend to bang on the piano during choruses. That is kind of disappointing,  even at its low price point.

True. Didn’t jump myself yet. But I’ve got sooooooooooo many pianos.

I was thinking about picking up the Originals Firewood Piano, which is only $17.40  with the code. My only concern is that I've read (I don't know anytime that owns it) that it only has two dynamic layers and Spitfire the transitions between them were not well done and because of that it can make a good performance more challenging. Does anyone here own it that can speak to that?

I plan on using it for mellow singer/songwriter music along the lines of Damien Rice, Sufjian Stevens, etc.

    It’s the Lumineers piano. Go!
