Amplitude 5 Max and Studio 3.5 Max already has this, right?
No.
Am I the only one who never gets that REDEEM popup?

People gettin upset over VST2 when so many developers haven't completely dropped 32 bit. See NI, Melda.

I have many of those listed. IF you want to fill your drive only for the purpose of filling your drive this would be it. I'm learning that smaller size packs seem to be more useful.
I haven't fully auditioned the last group of packs from the previous one.

Anyone venture to their forums to see if others are experiencing this?

It never worked for me anyway. I just download it and install on 3 machines.

Same...it never takes the first time. You have to close, then re-open the SAA and re-install...then it takes.
It's been that way for almost a year for meThe reason why I wont fork over major money on their player libraries.

Requires iLok. Easy pass on something that is so common.

Ended my CM sub (through Zinio) after six years. Used to skim and skip each issue for a few minutes at less than a dollar. But hey, I’m free now. Who can say that.
I need to constantly check their site to make sure auto renew is turned off. I'm stuck with it for another year.

Is it worth using a voucher?
From the demos I'm not sure this behaves any different than other ones other than the old looking GUI.
BTW I've never seen a 3 start review on their site.

Image Line brought back their player. I guess there were enough gripes about it.
I guess Reason 12 no longer supports them.
These are still being used today.
It would be interesting to see which ones are still favorites today.

Can you download all these games or do they come on a DVD?
Also, do they all run properly under Windows 10?
Kontakt or Kontakt Player? 😃

My gaming collection is as bad as my VST collection. I have plenty of games not even touched.

That's a possibility but (for PC at least) Thorn CM is in the Plug instruments Suite Folder downloadable from FileSilo (if you have an hour to spare 😉 )
They now have a zip file that contains other download links. Much quicker,
As for Thorn, PA has sales when you can get it cheap.

Those have in the in the CM issues at least a few months ago.
Every few months I like to archive their synths and effects. I wonder if they still have their old ones like their sampler.

To turn this thread on its head, I mostly ignore 3rd party equalizers in favor of the Cakewalk equalizer.
Overall, though, I'm in the camp of not wanting anything that won't work in multiple DAWs.
FL and Live users do that but may change ir for mastering. Plus most built in DAW stuff is easily accessible,

What the funk! I seem I can't stop buying their libraries... especially that they are constantly doing all these sells
I can. They are not very flexible.

I still like those AMD 65 watt cpus.

If you can even do that....
Those Mac cheese graters were very upgradable. People got a lot of life out of them and still do. Apples biggest mistake.

More and more we need faster systems, because a lot of software gets heavier and heavier (plugins, especially from the mid and larger companies). But if I take Reaper and some older excellent plugins I can run with the same speed on a 10 years old system. Will the mix be worse than on a new potent system with "modern" plugins? I doubt!
Plenty of shoddy development out there. It's worse in the gaming industry. If only more developers were like Reaper.
Funny how sample libraries went from 7200RPM drive, SSD, now M2 is recommended.

when you spec out for equal items and the quality of the components, materials, design, etc.., its pretty even. I'd say cheaper in time saved.
My experience doesn't reflect that. Uprading Mac hardware such as RAM and CPU costs more.

Or individual installer.. that's what I'm doing
One word of caution though, I bought their Juno synth and installed manually because I too hate having to install on my system a "central" and "manager" for every developer out there, but it wouldn't work anyway without updating Pace License Manager to a newer version. That makes me a bit mad cause such practices are begging for troubles for some users, especially those staying on older systems. It was the only one plugin in my life that asked for a new Pace License Manager or no go, and my system isn't that old. Annoying... but man that Juno sounds sooo rewarding
They hide the individual installers well.
Wow 3 iLok activations. Is that the same with all Softude stuff?
(are ya listening Waves)

Bought, so many use cases. I used to use FXteleport a while back but that was 32bit. Not heard of ones above but I trust Blue Cat plugins and they are pretty robust
I wonder if the website is still there. They all were free. I used the one made for Gigastudio at one time.
Eventually Reaper had their own.

Musiclab.com had a product called Midi Over LAN that I used to use year and years ago which allowed me to control my Midi over my network, which worked flawlessly, I don't know if they still sell it or not, but it worked great.
Nope, I still have it archived somewhere. There is rtp midi which is free. You need Apple's Bonjour to use it.

I had over 800GB of loops at one time that I cut down to under 400. I never keep those on a SSD drive. With Producer Loops stuff you can reduce their size by removing the loops labeled WET or TAILs. I always compress the full mix loops to mp3.
Usually when ADSR would have like 15 packs doe $20 that the total size is around 2GB those seem to be most useful since they come with midis and presets.
Unfortunately I've moved on to collecting numerous presets for all of the synths I have.
I've moved on from synths made in Kontakt. With Spire, Serum, Phaseplant, one could create without using up drive space.
Drive space is cheap when you don't have to buy it.
BTW CM magazine has reviews of sample packs. Anything rated under 9/10 is mediocre.
