It's kind of hard to recommend Cakewalk plugins, because I have to keep track of what is even available anymore. "Hey you should try DropZone!" ... maybe not. That said, I haven't really felt the need to use EQ other than the one in ProChannel. And I have used the consoles and tape from time to time. And I do like the CA2A on quite a few things.

Rapture was pretty cool for its time, but its time was 15 years ago.

They made so many mistakes with Rapture Pro. There were a lot of bugs and naming it after Rapture was a huge mistake because they never could meet expectations. They should have named it Sound Center Pro, because that's more of what it is. Once you see it as that, and after they fixed the bugs, you realize that it's actually pretty good in that role.

In a previous thread, I remember some people saying that they were tired of how every preset for Amplitube was the same rock hero stuff. Here are 10 patches that don't fit the mold. You will find a few pad sounds, a few sequenced sounds, lo-fi, and even a fake e-Bow. I tried to limit components to those available in Amplitube 5. 10 Nontypical.zip

Apparently the VST3 version of Kontakt has been in beta for about a month.

There might be some licensing issues with DP/RP as much of the content was created by third parties who licensed to Cakewalk. These rights might not transfer to Bandlab. I'd like to see Pentagon come back, 64 bit VST3, with the bugs fixed. Maybe support import of standard wav files.

People had been reporting an issue in KK with the update wiping out favorites. This morning they released a patch fixing that issue.

They are changing the name from Discovery Series to Spotlight Collection. Perhaps the old name does not translate well into Chinese.

Now it says changed the logo and image in the library browser. Not exactly most essential release I've seen.

This morning I saw updates to Cuba, West Africa, India, Middle East in Native Access. Unfortunately Native Access does not show what changed for these, and no information on NI site either.

I could be wrong, but these eBooks don't seem to be more detailed than the little 10 page booklets that you used to get occasionally with guitar magazines. Anyone have any experience with these?

So far MODO bass is my favorite. Before that I used to use the Scarbee Rickenbacker. and OTS Cherry bass. I also have their P Bass, but I don't think it is that great. Unfortunately a lot of good libraries require Kontakt. There are also a few decent free sfz files out there, although not many significantly better than what you get in SI Bass.
