  1. watch the video posted above from minute 8:00 same goes about transpose or any other processing
  2. This! there's practically no real reason for allowing only a single computer license in 21 century, it's all digital right? no additional costs for second allowance, no production outlay... so why? It's less hassle if you started Cakewalk on your laptop next to your desktop and just now realized that you forgot to send the licences to the cloud, it's much more annoying if you're away to your friends for a session and are now firing up your laptop, having fun, but not yet realizing that's going to happen again soon the next minute...
  3. Anyone remember when NI is making best sales on their libraries? Need to collect some monnies for these session horns.
  4. in google search look for "cakewalk forum" and not "sonar forum", this will bring you here quickly
  5. OMG the new v2 sampler-track in cubase is killing it even more now, just check it out (and watch the whole video from beginning for more): such feature can speed up your work by miles if you need to cook up a track from sample(s) or loop pack.. no idea why anyone wouldn't want it in cakewalk (and EDM is not my main style )
  6. ... No he hates it... oh wait, there's no Deals forum there?? 😱😱😱 then WUP would be the only deal 😝
  7. In addition I would suggest starting a new topic or forum that's global for all articulations that are supplied by users from now on here on forum, similar to UI Themes or Deals, so we can keep them combined in one place and could find them easier later if one need to. Just a thought.
  8. Me too ! there's something about the diamond I still love 👍 I have also Sampletank Max but not yet installed, will have to check if there is Alan Parson in it.
  9. Couldn't agree more, love to play with my Pianoteq but as soon it's going to be a record I will reach for CFX lite that for me sounds always like a real piano record and blends seamlessly with the rest of mix.
  10. Well that makes the deal even more sweet
  11. Cheers mate, that's a lovely offer indeed, sadly I have no more money left after my spontaneous DCO-106 purchase just recently 😄. Guess I'll bite the upgrade to the newest version on another occasion anyway, might even go the up tier if money allows. Luckily I have no pressure for it right now so I'll be fine with 6 Stage for a while. Just curious what's the additional instrument when going Stage>Standard?
  12. Do they make sales on upgrades?
  13. one question to those with Modo drum installed - how much disc space does it take after installation? thx
  14. Will CS version be of the same size? Actually that would have to force me to do some long deferred cleaning on my tiny crowded SSD.
  15. ah, and I'm looking for the final sound and not the experience, thanks for mentioning that
  16. Would appreciate some direct comprarisons.. youtube, soundcloud, mp3, etc - I don't have SD3 nor BDF3 so can't demo those and didn't see many/any comparisons against MODO Drum or AD2 (that I own).
  17. you have to bounce your track/clip after a tempo change to apply the high quality algorithm.. I still like to use Radius Mix for best quality, I've compared it to the newer Elastique Pro and in my ears Radius Mix always wins by a strand of a hair, it may depend on the source (type of music, etc)
  18. I bet it is! In cubase everything routing related is called VST - deal with that . I hope it was clear from my post that my intention was not bashing Cakewalk but to bring the routing topic back to light, at least for that short while. And I was talking also based on my own experience. Once this software enters homes routing becomes an issue, fact. In cakewalk if you want to make a MIDI arpeggiator (or vocoder) to work with another VSTi then prepare for going through few hoops and caveats, and some steps you have to go are very non-intuitive. I believe there's some space for improvements. In the early VSTi times when there was this inconvenience of dealing with MIDI and audio tracks separately and route things the way to make the VSTi work then the bakers came up with Instrument tracks which was an brilliant move, come on bakers .
  19. Fwiw, I somewhat sympathize with what was said here. Over the time I was asking here on forum, several times I believe, for making audio/MIDI routing a bit more simple, streamlined or anything to help those situations. This is indeed something musicians have to face when coming straight from the music world to digital world and many of them, including me, were hitting their head on the wall of this topic as routing in Cakewalk, for someone who's not a PC literate, is a tough topic, especially in the beginning. And even after time spent on learning how to route things in Cakewalk, I often have to sit back and pull my head away from music, just to be able to focus on how things should go, how to connect, why does it still not work, what did I miss, etc. So though I understand now the full power of this software and how much it let us achieve technically, I still feel where the frustration is coming from when dealing with routing, lurking back into manuals and troubleshooting instead of making music right away.
