Ok I have checked my 'Spacebar' issue on another computer and it turns out that this issue happens only on my laptop, so it might be not possible to reproduce it on another machine. After a context menu pop-up/close, or some dialog window like Articulation Editor, something here is stealing the focus from Cakewalk and inhibits it from getting back the keyboard strokes. I have to either Alt+TAB or mouse click on Cakewalk to bring it back to working. I remember however, that when working with some plugins and navigating through their presets with the keyboard then closing them, same issue was true on the other computer as well. But I realize now I'm getting off topic.

I edited my own post here, because it just occurred to me that in the description I was missing a key information that the issue is with using the Spacebar:

Right, I have to click with mouse the empty space behind Start Screen and then it will work. I posted a problem of similar (of maybe the same) kind of issue in the EA2 thread.

Also I'm getting unexpected results if I lasso-select a couple of nodes in tempo track and Ctrl+drag them, they will jump all over the place. And here are a few additional remarks from my short time of playing with the new envelopes/nodes/tempo track: need a tooltip with description of which track (pane) - Arranger/Tempo/Video - I'm going to resize (plus double-clicking to open/close, like we can do with Bus Pane, would also be welcome) wish we could Ctrl+drag of just lasso-selected automation nodes to copy them, also Ctrl+Shift drag when dragging nodes horizontally across the track to copy and keep their values or dragging from one track to another to copy and keep their time position wish we could drag/drag+copy nodes past the previous/following nodes, like we would deal with midi events wish Cakewalk could not clear selection of a few automation nodes after performing a dragging operation with them (works ok with tempo nodes) wish Cakewalk could not clear selection of a few nodes after I cancel a dragging operation with an ESC key (same issue in both the audio and tempo track) in the clips pane, clicking on another track with its edit filter set to envelopes does not give focus to that track, so if I want to paste something in a different track I have to select that track first (actually the same happens when working with clips but it seems an unnecessary step) cannot make the tempo track smaller if I start resizing from a certain point when the video track (pane?) is closed no idea why the difference but when I lasso-select a few automation nodes then ctrl+C, Cakewalk will create a time-range selection but when doing the same with tempo nodes, it won't Hope anything of it turns out useful.

I'm getting inconsistent results when dragging a few lasso-selected nodes in tempo track. Let's say I have added 3 nodes: 90bpm at 1:2:000 150bpm at 1:3:000, and again 90bpm at 1:4:000 Now if I lasso-select only these 3 nodes then drag them, let's say, exactly 500 ticks to the right, I'm getting these results: 90bpm at 1:2:485 150bpm at 1:3:682 90bpm 1:4:456 Also I've noticed the nodes will change their relative position already while moving them.

There is an issue when using the Tempo Track context menu, and not only. After clicking anything from the menu I'm not able to start/stop the playback CORRECTION: USING SPACEBAR, until I click somewhere on the Cakewalk UI to make it focus/active back again. Same happens when I right click to bring up the menu and then discard with the ESC button. Moreover same is happening with the Articulation context menu or Choose Articulation/Articulation Map Editor window. Interestingly it's working mostly ok with the Arranger Track (but right-click and clicking Rename and then cancel with ESC leads to same issue). That was my long time gripe with Cakewalk loosing focus after closing some plugins for example I was using some Korg synths or the new Roland Cloud plugin, I was navigating through their myriads of presets with the keyboard arrows then closing either with Enter or ESC and always had to click somewhere on the Cakewalk UI with mouse because the keyboard wouldn't work anymore. Hope that can be solved. EDIT: added into the text to make it more clear

Agreed. Completely flawless update even with a project open (but saved). Except it opened a website this time, minor issue but I typically have a few tabs open and it confuses the browser, it wasn't doing it before.

Wait a minute, whaaat? Now can we update tempo during playback... no, it's just for tap tempo 🤡 I thought we can now tap tempo and update during playback, that's just one step from keeping project playback in sync with the drummer through some midi trig.

This is similar to the problem I have in PRV in controller lanes when I want to select all events that range from 0 to max over long period of time, except it doesn't extend over to the notes pane, but the task is really difficult in a similar fashion and not user friendly. I've given up with lasso select copy/paste envelope nodes for now, can't wait for the new updated EA to see what the changes will be like

Hopefully you wouldn't mind sharing the efforts here on the forum then, I'm a heavy CAL-consumer like a few others no programming languages at all. Wish there could be created a CAL corner in the Content forum.

Was there any info given whether they will keep the old Play libraries still available to buy, like for example I have the Silver Strings now and would like to upgrade to Gold in a year or two, or are they trying to fully replace them with the new content in the foreseeable future?

Such CAL you're describing I've got built-in to my right hand<>mouse tandem, that is whenever I need to I simply do it by hand , much labor I agree. I too wish I had a tool like this, this is great idea.

Definitely please mention Cakewalk as well amongst other daws. I don't have Deep but I had some UI related issues in other Ujam instruments in Cakewalk and let them know. They did acknowledge they received my report but didn't fix anything as of yet just because of too small user base, they say (maybe using other words). One particular issue I have is when you want to change the project tempo in Cakewalk using the spinbox (is that a term?) - the tiny +/- buttons next to the tempo input box on the right. Once you place mouse between the '+' and '-' so the cursor turns into an up/down double arrow, it freezes a part of the Ujam's GUI, most likely the upper part where you have some buttons with hidden settings, like Micro Timing.

LOL.. as for "more visible", on your picture I can actually tell the VST3 is kind of a bluey, sort of.. on my system I can barely see any difference, more like a change in the tint of grey

I think I can see the different colors for VST2/VST3/DX on the right (not plugin names), but the difference is almost indistinguishable here.

This is the same behavior if you create a new project and import or record audio then close before saving. When I saved project the audio files persisted in global audio folder. Not sure this is still expected, there wasn't any 'save as' pop up.

I like that if I just temporarily open a Bandlab project (say with a title: "Title") and close without saving, Cakewalk won't deliberately populate my disk with any temporary audio files, the audio files are cleaned, but I've noticed it did left empty folder with that Bandlab project name "Title" in my 'Cakewalk Projects'. Also the audio files were downloaded to the global 'Audio Data' and not that newly created "Title" folder.
