  1. I got confused with Modo Drums 1.5 CS being added to my account free of charge when the 1.5 update came out, without a way of re-downloading sounds free of charge as they have already expired. Then I have read some people reported that after installing the update they found out that the sounds were gone from disk. So I still didn't update, just in case to avoid getting into this troube. Maybe someone could confirm that a simple install of the 1.5 update over the existing version doesn't clear out the samples anymore?
  2. Glad to report that the guys from support have taken care of me and finally this issue has been resolved. They manually registered missing bits in my account 👍 Now onto this ongoing promo...
  3. LOL (not really)... they wiped out my unredeemed choices from the previous promo Sampletank Squared while I was waiting for customer support reply to my ticket about that freebies listed on the promo website as available to choose from are not on my drop-down list when I wanted to pick them... LOL (not really) I'm not buying anything unless this gets resolved (if ever )
  4. Does it count me in if I bought previously through plugin boutique?
  5. I've seen a couple of his videos, he's strongly subjective. For example when I first watched the BA-1 walkthrough video from baby audio's website I saw the sidechaining feature explained and my first thought was "oh great, no need to pull out another plugin just for that!", as he simply found it useless, LOL. There might be things I wouldn't agree, but like you I always appreciate unbiased opinion. I will probably buy this anyway for it's sweet '80s sound, for fat sounds I have other synths . If only I could know how long is the intro price...?
  6. a bit controversial, I know, but at the same time an independent opinion so always worth sharing
  7. I was like that until it hit me, I think it may start to pain only after you've been hit. We've been praising Bandlab on many occasions for giving us free access to our beloved Cakewalk DAW. Nonetheless once it stops working it stops working and you can't save, hence subscription. Here's hope it won't happen anytime soon.
  8. doesn't look like a generic code unfortunately
  9. Extra discount code in your mail box. Is this the price good to buy now? I mean I'm buying the lovely cherry audio synths for less thus I'm torn between 'I want this' and 'I can wait and save more'...
  10. Thanks, I did. Reinstalling cakewalk, reinstalling all browsers, reinstalling windows... no thanks I'm logged in again now. You have to try many times, or wait some time and try again, idk. For me it was a short breeze of uncertainty, again. Subscription is probably the worst authorization method out there.
  11. 11 days of my subscription left... boy this is why I hate subscriptions 😡

    Free HARD plugin

I'd love some software developers could invent a hard disk plugin. Preferably free
  14. I'll try to find my old hammond project and see if I did anything to it since, like bouncing clips with the controllers or anything to mitigate the sluggishness, if not then I'll try and experiment with it too. I like to keep different CC# takes in separate clips to make it more easy for editing later, as I'm missing a few tools when I want to quickly select and move or edit whole takes or parts of a take with many different controllers in it and I want to edit or shift just one or few of them against the rest (visually). So I often keep a couple different controllers in the same track on separate take lanes for simplified access. Maybe that's additional cause for the issue.
  15. if by saying "draw an envelope pattern" you mean something about the the automation/envelopes then IDK, but if you mean drawing/editing MIDI Control Change events then yes, I was having this same issue for years going back to Sonar Platinum times. I even reported it back then and even had a response (after 6 months) that there were some adjustments done to the Sonar's engine but it didn't solve this issue. I was doing a Hammond organ VSTi track, it has 2 manuals with 9 drawbars plus couple other controls each, a pedals with up to 5 drawbars and then several general controls for other things along with controlling the virtual leslie speaker, going easily into more than 50 different CC controllers altogether for just one instrument. For me the issue, same looking as those for @Blogospherianman and @haydn12 above, starts when my project crosses some critical mass of these MIDI controller data amount in it, then the sluggishment starts being noticeable. To me it looks like a GUI issue but maybe it's a Cakewalk's MIDI engine issue indeed otherwise why it would start only after the amount of MIDI data crosses some quota in a project, and it's always fine with smaller/normal projects?
  16. Anyone up for exchange his $75 voucher with my $25 voucher?
  17. I don't see a way to register so I think I'm out.
  18. or use your Midiflex4 for connecting 2 keyboards and the third one just connect with it's USB MIDI connection, I see that at least Tyros and Motif have such port, but yeah having an 8 port midi interface would be the safest solution as you'd avoid potential scrambling of MIDI inputs in your Cakewalk projects that many are experiencing, including myself
