Cheapest I've found was on KVR Marketplace $45 with some kvr points I had there. Yes there is 10% off voucher on vstbuzz making the price €44 but due to currency conversion it was still more profitable to buy in $$.

That's track's Volume automation for me (yellow), not clip gain (red). And the focus doesn't switch with the click here so maybe there's another setting hiding in the menus ?
-
If you have 'Maximize Waveform Height' checked in Track View menu under View > Display, then it will work only when clicking in the bottom half of a clip. After setting Edit Filter to clip gain, hover mouse somewhere close to the top of clip until cursor changes to up and down arrows then you can change the whole envelope with just a mouse click (without Ctrl).

	First world problem ?

Clearly that's almost exactly what I am doing here for years ? and I'm not going to rethink my audio software purchasing. But in this one case I'll buy them all separately just in order to multiply the pleasure of buying audio software.

Didn't think of writing any disclaimer to restrict the contest to a single item so I guess you won ?!

A virtual ? for anyone who finds best discounted price for Xils! best price I managed to find was on vstbuzz minus voucher (think it's 10% off).

Guys, did anyone of you get an IKM newsletter "IK's MAX deals continue - now through January 9"? I got it on 4th Jan, basically it says that the Sampletank Squared is too extended through January 9th. I bought an (second) item after that email but nothing popped-up in the Promotions page. Anyone had similar experience? On the Sampletank Squared page, which is now down, there was no update of the end date, but there was a pop-up window enticing to buy another item giving impression that the promotion still goes on. Doesn't give great feelings of confidence but I thought I'd pull the trigger again, now not so sure anymore. Waiting for a reply from support.

I love how nothing could wipe the smile out of his face during the video presentation Waiting till this price drops down to our mortals range will be painful.

Great idea.. except that I already have those two ? (for someone it's a good use though)

Wouldn't it be worth it to send the broken project to cakewalk support, since more people are affected with the engine hung?

Feature req: Ability to rename MIDI CC in automation envelopes and PRVchris.r replied to GreenLight's topic in Feedback Loop The whole controllers pane would benefit from a slight overhaul. It's got huge potential but it's still too clunky to work with at the current stage. For example when I'm doing a Hammond organ track, there will be often 20-30+ controllers working hard at the same time! I encounter some troubles in doing even basic things like selecting and moving quickly around small parts of different controller events separately (chunk of events of one controller, then another and so on). Something like time selection but for just a single controller lane is missing or if I'm missing it, please let me know. Also I still couldn't figure out how to simply and quickly select all events at once from just a single controller line, without fiddling heavily with the cursor which is nearly impossible especially if there's both data at zero and max in it, or reaching for 'select by filter' menus. Double clicking on the empty space in the corresponding controller lane would have been very handy or at least adding a context menu. Another thing I noticed is that once the controller data amount in the project crosses some critical mass the cpu will start getting punished unreasonably high when doing the edits. I first noticed it years ago in Sonar Platinum and have changed PCs to more powerful since but the issue still exists just less noticeably. If you would like to ask me why I'm still getting bothered with CC events instead of MIDI envelopes the answer is that I still don't trust them much enough as I think they still need more debugging. Oh not even mention how the transform tool, ctrl/shift modifiers and interpolation would be missing!

POLYWAX - GIVE GLOSS TO YOUR SOUND!

That's very interesting. But if you can offload the chains to Audio Gridder on the same machine, you should be able to do the same in Cakewalk. It's absolutely worth chasing down to the bottom what is going on there .

I will wait until someone puts it into paces and report how it sounds... Joking... I got you!

What's the different between this and my iCon Platform? Oh wait, iCon doesn't produce sound....

Could be that I helped it a bit by opening new edge tab and logging into bandlab.com just to make sure my credentials are still valid. Then the Cakewalk's login window proceeded correctly. Did it help, I don't really know but I thought I'd tell about it here in case someone stumble on the same issue.

windows 11 Windows 11 audio glitcheschris.r replied to Tony Beveridge's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab An older processor, or perhaps any processor on the edge. Normally I would skip that info but since we're using Cakewalk and he's the developer it's hard to ignore even if it's one word against rest of world . Ozone and the family are well known to be hogs. Overall I'm fading away from iZotopes.

windows 11 Windows 11 audio glitcheschris.r replied to Tony Beveridge's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab I took a quick look as it's from focusrite and for win 11 so must be current, and funnily enough they still advise setting processor schedule to background processes, same as everyone else since about over last 20 years as far as I remember, but just recently I've read in a thread somewhere here on forum, where Noel popped up surprised about it and saying that it should be always set to programs! Go figure out .

Thanks, I have smartcomp but I forgot about this option. For that I use Baby Audio Smooth Operator, another one worth a mention. Obviously Trackspacer as a one trick pony might be the easiest and quickest in use.
