Gave up in the end and resigned myself to it just being like a sampletank library. Next day I opened the UI and there it was - go figure? Anyway, my verdict is that it's very nice for a freebie, I like the layering and the effects section, but if I was buying something of this ilk I would probably go down the Arturia route rather than Syntronik. Similar to comparing Sampletank and Kontakt to me - not bad, but you'd always know what you should have bought.* * If it didn't involve NI.

I do have a sometimes disturbing ability to listen to the same song over and over, but yeah some do just annoy after a while and I have to move on to something else. Most memorably some years back there was one that I just couldn't shift out of my head for days afterwards and it irritated me to the point that I hated it. Eventually, I was released from it's hold and I have never listened to it since.

Ah, that explains it.............

So far the inability to shut my eyes without seeing horrors the like of which I had previously thought to be unimaginable. I may never be able to sleep again.

I had intermittent problems most of yesterday with this site only, slightly different error message, something about a bad tunnel, which means sweet FA to me, but it's fine today, so maybe craigb is right and Mrs S doesn't want me to give away any more of her secrets?😏

Don't kid yourself - she sees everything in that room as an electronic babysitter that keeps you out of the way while she does whatever she wants to. If she ever tries to tell you anything different to that, then she's just messing with your mind because she can.😏

In my case, not only did almost every large download fail several times, always right near the end, but they just completely ignored my question of why I had to download everything when I just paid for the HD. Several other related support tickets were also just marked as solved when they had even responded to my question.

Meanwhile, it's Saturday night and I'm discussing the merits of various pies with people I'm never likely to meet. If my 20 yr old self could see me now I'm sure he'd have something to say about that.
