    New Projects Screen

Make sure the folders as defined in Preferences - File - Folder location matches the actual locations of your templates. (2nd item down)
  2. Getting ready for BBA3 perhaps?
  3. I just checked my Cakewalk Command Centre and six 30th anniversary editions are are present under hidden (I intentionally hid them). 30th anniversary Anderton Collection FX Series 30th anniversary CA-X Amps 30th anniversary Quadcurve Presets 30th anniversary Modular FX Chains 30th anniversary Rapture Expansion Packs 30th Anniversary Drum Replacer Kicks I also checked my Cakewalk account at https://legacy.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products and the above products are listed there as well. If you believe they should be listed, and they are not, then you might want to flick an email to support@cakewalk.com to get them to take a look for you. I am assuming you are using the latest Cakewalk Command Centre (available from here: https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Command-Center)
  4. I definitely will not miss this thing.... to me, that thing sounded atrocious.....
  5. I am not sure if this issue existed before the 2023.9 ER55, but I have just noticed it. When I have saved a track template of a SIT with input echo enabled, and then reload it, the input echo of the loaded track template is not illuminated. The input echo functions as if it is illuminated (ie, MIDI data is received), however. Normal MIDI tracks are OK, though.

    Slow PRV scrolling

Pretty much..... I always use lots of MIDI controller events in all my projects. I have to watch their density a lot. Thank goodness CAL scripts, even though officially depreciated, still run in CbB. Imagine thinning MIDI controller events manually.

Are you actually referring to the Windows desktop program “Cakewalk by Bandlab”?
  8. Download the web installer from here. https://downloads.bandlab.com/cakewalk/setup/CakewalkSetup.exe
  9. UVI, NI / Izotope, XLN, Meldaproduction, Applied acoustics, Arturia, overloud, Celemony..... etc.
  10. ....and my next prediction from UVI is BeatBox Anthology 3
  11. I just got a reply from UVI support. They have acknowledged this issue and it will be fixed in the upcoming version 1.0.1 of Synth Anthology 4
  12. Definitely using latest workstation (3.1.12 x64)
  13. Can someone who has SA4 on UVIWorkstation 3.1.12 and select any 28. machine preset and post what happens. When I select any 28. machine preset, I get SA4 display an error mesage "Unable to load the convolution reverb data from'SFalcon Resources.ufs/Samples/Convolver/Speaker/Champion.wav'" and "Unable to load the convolution reverb data from'SFalcon Resources.ufs/Samples/Convolver/Speaker/bass Green.wav'" I have reported this to UVI support but I just want to make sure it's not just me.
  14. I pretty much work the same way with MIDI in the PRV. I copy (sometimes cut) and paste a lot. Sometimes between tracks. My clips are single huge clips in each track. I also have “Blend Old with New” in Preferences - Editing.... In the 30 years of working this way, I have never seen the behaviour you just described. Are you using the latest version of Cakewalk by Banflab?

    Slow PRV scrolling

Yes, I am with the lots of controllers theory. There is a CAL script that can thin them out a bit. Look for a CAL script called “Thin Controller Data.cal”
  16. The F'em installer has a similar issue that the BBC Orchestra update did. Similar solution too (remove the VST3 extension from the folder it puts the VST3 plugin). I can also confirm “possible crash in FM Matrix control” has been fixed (I actually experienced this particular crash and reported this to Tracktion support).
  17. Keyswitches. If the notes that do the keyswitching are simply MIDI notes events, then if you ever need to transpose the MIDI track containing the keyswitch notes, the keyswitches would end up triggering the wrong articulation. You would have to remember to only select non keyswitch notes every time. Of course you could always put the keyswitch notes on a separate MIDI track and route that MIDI track to the synth with the articulations. Both scenarios would mean constant scrolling or switching between tracks. Articulations solves all of that .
  18. How a synth responds to velocity depends entirely on the synth’s preset. Also, on some presets, velocity could affect more than merely volume.
  19. What happens if you uninstall Rapture Session and then reinstall it via the Cakewalk Command Centre?

    Playback speed

Maybe use Audiosnap on the recorded audio clip - click “clip follows project”. Then enter a lower tempo. I am more of a MIDI person, so someone might clime in with a different solution.
  21. Definitely an issue with the piano VST you are using. Hopefully EastWest can get this sorted for you. A similar thing happens with Arturia’s SQ 80 V synth when a patch with unison is enabled. (For my issue, I have contacted Arturia support, and they have acknowledged the issue and are working on it).
  22. Some of the the CAL scripts I have written can generate the required MIDI events directly. Some if them can edit ones I have entered by hand. They do speed up MIDI editing a lot.
