Actually no.  The "Entry Point" is based on what product you buy, and Gear Credits don't count as a product.
Your best bet is to buy the 200 Credits for $112 using 48 Jampoints and buying Amplitube 5.  That will put
you in the Group Buy at the $200 level, so all the $199.99 crossgrades would be in your reach...

I believe he was referring to stacking 200+50 GC in Custom shop, and buying in at the $249 level with a single purchase there.

OK.  I have 51 Jampoints from some freebies and an old XChange collection.  So now my thought process may change.  I buy 200 credit pack AND a 50 credit pack, I can use my 51 Jampoints to make that purchase $158.98.  I now have 250 Credits (they combine, right?) - so now I can buy Syntronik Delux for $250, then my freebies can all be $250 or less.

    Is this correct?

Now you are cooking with GAS!!! LOL!!! 🤣

And Jampoints can reduce that price to $112 using the full 30% of 48 Jampoints

I realize that, and even discussed that option in an earlier example. But @huskeras a new customer, has no Jam Points yet, so I didn't mention that in my reply to his question. Great point though!!! I did something like that myself, and it worked. So now I have 2 qualifying products, and 10 freebies!!! 😎

OK.  I just want to make sure:

    I buy Amplitude 5 for $199.99 -

I can then choose TRacks 5 ($149.99),  Sampletank 4 ($199.99), Modo Drum ($199.99), Modo Bass ($199.99), and Syntronik ($199.99) for free?

Don't pay the full $199 for Amplitube 5!!!

Buy 200 Gear Credits for $159.99, and then use them to buy Amplitube 5 in the Custom Shop using GC for the $199 level.

    Buy Gear Credits here => https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/index.php?R=INIT&FV=all-credits-family-related-products&CV=Other Filter&PSEL=allcredits

So, without going through 28 pages of thread.  Is this the way it works?

I buy something for X dollars - I can then choose (right now) 5 products that are less than X dollars for free?

So, if I buy Amplitude for $199.99, I can choose 5 products of $199 or less?

Yup, as long as what you buy is in the official qualifying products list. Here => https://www.ikmultimedia.com/25gb/#products

Hey, this post qualified for a page #29. Yay! :)

I'll probably buy in with  AmpliTube 5 but not until next week on new billing cycle for credit card.  I don't have anything on the card but I might as well get almost 2 months to pay for my GAS :D

Buy Gear Credits at the IK website using your Jam Points. For example, you could buy $150 of GC for $135.99, and if using up to $40 in Jam Points, that gets you 150 GC for $95.99 out of pocket.

Now head over to Custom Shop to register your code and see what 150 GC can get you! Then after your purchase in CS, head back to see your freebies added to your IK account at the $150 level! :)

  8. Yep, thanks! I've watched all of the AT 5 videos and walk-throughs, and IK tech talks, but as a non guitar player I am not certain that VIR would justify $150 difference for me. I think that the option to add a 3rd amp or cab to the chain might be a bigger deal for me. That VIR tech sure seems like a lot of geek-tweaking to me, LOL!

So I would mostly be just using the bass amps and cabs for virtual basses, and maybe occasionally a virtual guitar plug-in here or there. I'm mostly into synths and keys. At the end of the group buy I should have all of the AT v5 gear (I got AT v4 MAX included  in the last TS MAX crossgrade, as I wasn't actually looking to buy it), and it seems that is likely much more than I could ever use! Maybe the next total studio upgrade will get me the full AT 5. :)

While your current AT4 Max products will work in AT5 CS, they will not get the benefit of the new IR's,
as those only come with AT 5 Full version (only a handful come with SE) if I remember correctly

Not really asking about the v4 gear, but rather the a la carte v5 gear in the Custom Shop, and how it would work in AT 5 CS.
