  1. Upgrade them to what?
  2. No VST3 for legacy AIR synths... 64-bit VST2 only.
  3. Yes, it has a surprising number of bread and butter instrument sounds, beyond synth noises. Quite useful as a rompler for setting up placeholder sounds.
  4. Loom II and Vacuum Pro are excellent sound machines. Both also have interesting patch "randomizing" features. Hybrid is capable of making some great moving sounds, with it's dual layers (parts A & B), containing 3 oscillators, dual modulation envelopes, dual filters, and a step sequencer per part. It's really a shame that AIR chose not to update the GUI on these, because they all have very good synth engines under the hood.
  5. No feature/GUI/functional updates. Just compatibility.
  6. Every time there is an IK Group Buy, things get fired up both here at the Deals Forum and over at KVR. But then it dies down after the sale. Last Group Buy there was an unofficial contest to see which forum would generate the most thread pages. We were ahead until some comments got out of hand and a mod locked the thread here. There's generally not much meaningful collaboration happening at KVR. But some developers use it as a support forum, and other marketers use it to announce new products or updates. Users delight in venting and slinging arrows at other users. I would suggest wearing your thick skin suit if you choose to wade into those dark waters. 😉 VI-control.net probably has the best "community". https://vi-control.net/community/
  7. Got it for $1 six years ago... 😉
  8. Looks like they fell short on that one! Tagging your stuff should be available, but apparently not! 🙄
  9. Hook, line, and sinker! 🤣
  10. You are likely correct about Darkstar, but have no idea how you came up with that reference to me?
  11. Just a guess here, but the GB seems to be on pace for 1 product every 2 days. With 14 days left we should make it to 20 or 21, unless there is a big pile on at the end that takes it all the way... or IK extends the GB...
  12. Here's the new Massive X 1.4.0 preset browser. I have the stock out-of-the-box (download) that ships with Komplete 13 with 1501 presets. You can see all of the included sound banks in the lower left. This thing covers a lot of sonic territory. H e l l yeah!!! But you are still limited to the 170 factory wavetables, times x10 different modes. No way yet to import your own yet...
  13. The only remaining drawback is that you still cannot build custom preset folders and organize them. All of your work ends up in the "User" folder. Not an issue for me, but some sound designers with an eye for creating and selling sound banks are a bit put off by that. They imply that NI is attempting to keep all Massive X sound design "in-house".
  14. I quoted that qualification info from the NI website (the link that you posted). Just fyi, no complaints here, as I already have Massive and Massive X.
  15. This crossgrade only works for users of MASSIVE.
  16. Apple Silicon with Rosetta required!
  17. Yes!!! New preset browser!
  18. This was an add-on library for ST4. Probably could have been a Syntronik library if just the Obie One. But the C30P adds some interesting sounding layers in here... But honestly, I rarely, if ever, turn to ST4 for synth sounds. I have the ST4 MAX which is crammed full out the ying yang with generic synth samples. But with Syntronik and other tools available, my other synth options are closer at hand.
  19. Already have everything except the bx stuff...
