  1. This is in reference to the StewMac guitar I built. The build came with a 16" radius neck. This is the first 16" I ever played (that I knownof). After much debate I decided to replace the neck. I ordered a neck from Guitar Anatomy in The UK off of Etsy. Neck has a serious flaw. The middle.of all frets (except 3) aren't seated in the middle. They are properly seated at the ends, but the middle sticks up about 120 - 150 mm. The seller accepts returns. And is willing to offer to pay up to $30 for the return shipping. And he will pay to ship me a new neck. So I decided on a return /swap solution. I went to+ ship the package back to him and UPS wants to charge me over $350!! Said I had tompay duties and fees. Anyone know how I can ship it cheaply back to the UK? Oh, BTW, I can push those frets down till the seat properly. But they won't stay down. To me that means the slot that was cut for the frets are too.wide in the middle. So the barbs have nothing to grab onto. Anyone else have another explanation... I'm all ears!!
  2. I thought you were joking!! Apparently not. After watching it I was so moved that all I could think of: spirituality. First thing is I couldn't believe the rich voice coming out of this skinny guy. Then I thought the orchestra in the back was just waiting for them three to do their little thing and get off the stage. But my impression, as this was the first time ever seeing this "audience choir" thing, was that the crowd responded to his gestures with out a word being spoken. Which was amazing to me and testament of the common spiritual nature of all of us. The I saw Sal's post about the choir and really thought that he was making a joke (a good one at that!) about the video. I clicked the link fully expecting to see some BS choir from NI!! Then when I saw the actual "Audience Choir" lib I was left... less than "spiritual". Yep, that crowd was expecting what happened. It wasn't a spontaneous event, which is what I thought was happening. Anyway, I watched this drinking my first cup of coffee and enjoyed it regardless. [edit] Thanks for the link Sal
  3. Everyone wants to know!! Why? IDK!!
  4. Yeah, we do things like that to satisfy that "underlying need". But it don't help!! LOL! Give yourself some time and space. Like Old Joad said, we'll be here when ya get back.
  5. I can't believe I forgot about Stanley Jordan. After seeing this, I sat with my wife and we watched about an hours worth of his videos. Phenomenal musician. His creativity is exceptional.
  6. Yep, that's what ya need to do. Just chill for a little while. Some advice, don't sell anything at least for a year. Maybe two. If you just chill, let it come back naturally, you'll remember why you started all this BS. Rush said it best: Put Aside the alienation, get on with the fascination. The real relation, the underlying need. It's what you are. You are the one to please.
  7. Except whole bean. Grind myself with burr grinder. Again, whole bean. I drink both espresso style with steamed heavy whipping cream and a shot of chocolate. Mmmm
  8. Yep, them was the good ol days!! Like Craig says, after Crypto currency took off, mining it went through the roof. Every available video card was snatched up (or stollen by the boatloads!!) by the crypto-miners. Prices have never really returned to what they were. [TOTP!!]
  9. I ain't believing that!! LOL
  10. Drummers use them as fills all the time!! The producers just don't put them in the mix!! LOL!! Neil Pert with Rush, Mike Portanoy with Dream Theater, Phil Ehart with Kansas, Joey Kramer with Areosmith...

  13. I thought graphics card only came in Dual or Single Slot configuration. 2.5 slots? Or are you saying your card is too high? (Boy that's wide open right there!!) [edit] Did I miss the mark here and your talking about then the actual slot? If you are talking about the slot the are PCIe x1, or a PCIe x8 & x16, both of those are the same size.

  18. I can not believe it took me this long to remember this song: Let It Rain, by Clapton. The opening riff alone is one of the greatest in rock. But at the 3:48 mark that lick Eric throws out there is the best rock lead ever... bar none!! There is so much feel in that solo. That is the greatest solo in rock history.
  19. Neil Schon: Feeling That Way/Anytime also Wheel In The Sky Most underrated Journey Song: Something To Hide
