  1. Sound great. Just some more ideas / questions on this:

What would be the exact benefits of having a native cakewalk sampler in comparison to VST samplers like Momentum,

ADSR etc. regarding the workflow? Would it be a real time saver? What would be the integration points in cakewalk's

    media browser etc.?

I think a more detailed view on these advantages could better demonstrate the need of e.g. a loop construction view++

including a midi controlled use of the slices. Let's find some more brainstorms.

BTW: Isn't it possible to use FL Studio as a VST plugin in Cakewalk? Does maybe even its sampler work in this case?

    Same here.

BandLab Assistend doesn't download anything. It shows "Downloading... (0/0)" making no progress.

Downloading from within Cakewalk works. After pressing "Install Now", a error message appears, telling me that the installer executable cannot be found. The displayed pathname is not correct, a special character in my user name (which is part of the download pathname) is corrupted.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried to setup the download path cakewalk folder as an exception in the windows defender setup? Maybe the download gets quarantined for its lack of a signature…

‘Duplicate Selected Clip(s) as Linked Clips’ command

To duplicate the selected clip(s) as linked clips, press CTRL+SHIFT+D.

I dont understand what is this suppose to do... I just seems like the same duplicate that was already in place. Am I missing something here?

    see https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X2&language=3&help=Arranging.32.html

If clips are linked, they all own the same content, e.g. if you change one - you change all of them.

  4. The trick is to deactivate the OBS preview after fittting all together in OBS so your CPU has more power left to encode the video file. And if you use the same resolution for the screen and the recorded file the CPU won't need to render this up or down... Have fun 😉

  5. Have you also tried "AZ Controller"? I personally use a Roland A-PRO300 with ACT but I have in mind that AZ Ctlr helped a lot of people using other stuff:

  6. ThxAloT for this brilliant wholistic approach to an important issue.

    I came to SonarX1 buying a "Roland Quad-Capture" interface.

BTW: Phantom Power, High-Z and  Ground Lift switches are on the back 😉

    All the best to you...
