  1. Whew. I use all of these pretty often. Shadow Hills is a must for me on 2 mix when working on 'heavy' music. If you see the video were they A/B against the hardware, the hardware is better, imo, but it's still quite useable and gets at least 85% of the way there. The Magnum K is wizardry voodoo science fiction on vocals- I've used a pair of the hardware or this plug in on every vocal I've mixed since I got them. The BAX is really great on stereo guitar buses and stereo synths, and is a good Baxandall type Eq. What a time to be alive.

    APD Deal #8 Open

APD has got some great deals going, but I wish there were less sample library based stuff and more audio plug ins (like the Proximity EQ).
  3. WD - Easystore 8TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive - Black Also here if you have ebay bucks, cash back sites, etc: https://www.ebay.com/itm/WD-Easystore-8TB-External-USB-3-0-Hard-Drive-Black/192784859465 https://www.google.com/shopping/product/668482474785908180?q=WDBCKA0080HBK-NESN&prds=epd%3A13145235585625717650%2Coid%3A13145235585625717650%2Cprmr%3A3&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwij__qRwublAhVOXK0KHYegCCsQ1sEDCGM&utm_source=affiliate_CJ&utm_medium=1122587_cj_4485850&utm_campaign=Deep+Link&utm_content=13713149 $124.99 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D5V2ZXD/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_kU74DbJTKWHAS?tag=slickdeals&ascsubtag=3f44da62144911ea866c6e29dea6a24e0INT I believe these are WD Red's if you are looking to shuck them, but I'm not 100% certain.
  4. Not like this? If not, you might want to let their support know and give them your specs (DAW, OS, PC, plug in format, blood type, favorite flavor of gatorade, etc). PenPlug.mp4
  5. BTW Carlos... I just tried downloading the manual and it wouldn't let me (I did before and it's VERY comprehensive). So I'm sure a lot of people didn't realize this either.
  6. Also, make sure you aren't on a Mac running OS 0.0. 😜
  7. Click "auto gain". You'll see the 'input' knob change. Without this, I can understand your comment. When you decrease it on Pre1 (dirtier than pre2- more of a smiley face sound that's kinda hyped), you'll noticed it get tamed. When you decrease Pre2 (you'll hear a smooth bump around 10k), you'll notice much less of a difference. It does nothing when no pre is selected. Turning them up will be obvious (again, unless you have no pre selected).
  8. Bawhahaha. Oh man, that's BRUTAL. If you don't like it, that's fine... but to say it's transparent completely ignores the "pre" section and feature set. I mean there is literally a harmonics knob.
  9. https://www.costco.com/.product.3005555.html If you're a member, Costco has it with Rescue Data Recovery Services for about $15 more (and no flash drive). A friend just got one from Staples, so maybe they restocked them, or she got lucky? Maybe try again and report back if they are still OOS.

    DDMF Plugin Doctor

Just for clarification, this is a stand alone program, and a plug in. It comes in 32 and 64 bit versions. It's very useful in tracking some funky stuff down, and measuring certain aspects of plug ins. I highly recommend it, and Metaplug in, if you need to wrap plug ins in certain DAWs. Magicdeatheye is also pretty good and Chord Detector is helpful, although not always 100% perfect. The others are kinda hohum to me.
  11. Add these two to your cart. 5TB Seagate Backup Plus USB 3.0 External Hard Drive $5.99 32gb flash Drive Use coupon code "74806" in checkout (to the right). $75.98 with free shipping.
  12. I own 2 of their product. $549.00 upgrade pricing. This appears to be $50 less than just buying the bundle outright. I was hoping to legitimize some of their stuff on my rig. Flurpaderp dittdullydew.
  13. Got it. Sounds really fantastic. It’s not surgical. It also performs better than the other Acustica stuff (doesn’t take 10 seconds to load, etc). Super musical and kinda “just works”. Highly recommend the demo.

    Overloud BF Sale

T+S wouldn't accept my loyalty points code. Bought through Overloud instead. I use Rematrix a lot, and now I have more IR's and Presets with sift though.
  18. This was on my list. Bought them all. Thanks, Lare.
  19. I had MF points to cover this and got it for free. Almost makes up for the fact that I have to goto the DMV today.
  20. Would be worth pursuing if you could stack them, but you can't.
  21. You can scale the UI from 100%, 90%, 80%, and 70%. There's 2, 4, 8, and 16X oversampling so if you're running low on DSP, you can scale it back. The THD tweeker knob (+/- 30) is pretty sick. Tobias Lindell is an active audio engineer, so he self scrutinizes his stuff a lot before it's even tested by other people. This is also why he tries to hit a price point that's acceptable from the hobbyist to the seasoned full time pro.
  22. Roland DJ-99 2-Channel DJ Mixer I expect this to sell out fast. edit: spoke too soon.... looks like it sold out already... op; please delete thread.
