This usually happens if you have Hyper-V set up. The workaround is to put it on USB memory stick. I did. You loose an USB port, but then again it's easier to move the USB stick to the laptop when needed.

Absolutely fantastic product. I only regret not buying it sooner.

If I may add another comment. GDPR is there to make sure that companies show honesty towards their clients. If they only do that, so their clients can react in time, they are generally in the clear (for cases like this). But honesty is a rare commodity.

My GDPR comment was made in context of previous messages, that strongly hints at general breach at Steinberg. There is more than few affected. EU/EES citizens or not doesn't matter. It's a german company. I work in a field that has do adhere to very strict standards including GDPR, and I know GDPR quite well.

According do GDPR regulations they MUST inform users of known security breach within 72 hours. If they don't, they will land themselves in serious trouble.
