That's (most probably) right - unless you want to do something wacky with it. I've got this library and full Kontakt, but (for my use of Riff Generation) it wouldn't make a difference if I just had the player. (Full Kontakt does open a whole new world of sounds and freebies though - but then that just leads to needing higher capacity disks 😜)

Audentity Records releases ''Lofi Soul Instrumentals'' on Splice

Reminds me of a video I was watching about orchestral instruments a while ago - this particular one was about the celeste; the guy just kept calling it a 'chelest'. -
I bought the Samplitude Suite a few years ago as I wanted Sound Forge (v11 at the time) and the cost of the bundle was less than that of Sound Forge. I've seen the deal pop up a few times since then - do the newer versions of Sound Forge have any compelling features/reasons to upgrade?

Question is: will the full price exceed their currently most expensive plugin (bx_console Focusrite SC, $349)? Makes no difference to me: I have enough EQs, and I don't think I can hear a clear difference between them; but then that's just me.

Completely agree - especially as they let you deactivate the pre-Windows-update activations.
-
Also, how big is the factory library? I can only find RAM requirements on their website.
-
Is the licencing as flakey as AD2? It's not really a biggy - just mildly annoying.

I really do admire how there can be a company that breaks software compatibility with every new release, break hardware compatibility with every few releases, and yet still manages to get so many people to buy new $1000+ phones.

Flip between them repeatedly and you get Everyday I Love You Less and Less by Kaiser Chiefs
-
Make that Amin to Emin, and you've got Losing my Religion by REM

These guys apparently do https://www.thediceshoponline.com/dice-sets/153/-dice-sets If you're feeling adventurous, they have 12 sided dice (one for each note in the scale); for the really adventurous, they even have 120 sided dice!

So it might be worth waiting to see if there's a sale later on (e.g. Black Friday/Christmas)?
-
Just out of interest, do you mean the BEO or the JEO?
-
Is $49 the regular price for Scalar 1?
-
The big one is usually the Winter sale, around Black Friday and Christmas
-
It sort of already has that, in that you can expand the stock plugins in the console to get a mini view of their controls
-
A quick example made up from a blank Cakewalk project: notice the drums and guitar icons, just below the faders
-
To be able to put a small picture to visually describe each track strip within the mixing console; a feature was introduced in Sonar for a while now
-
Track icons on the console would be nice too...

Anyone know if DeluxeBucks have an expiry period? I don't shop from AudioDeluxe that often and I'm wondering whether I should use them up as soon as possible, or whether to hang onto them for a bigger discount somewhere down the line.

Is an IK Multimedia UNO Synth out of the question? (€199.99 excl. VAT) https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/unosynth/?pkey=unosynth Disclaimer: I've never seriously looked for a hardware synth, so I have no idea what's classified as a 'good' one.

Don't know quite how you did it, but you somehow managed to make Studio One look like Visual Studio PS. I know how to change the colours - I've just never made it look like VS
-
I never quite understood why people would want a case sensitive file system though - to me it makes no sense why it would be beneficial for readme, Readme, README, and ReadMe to be completely different files. I get it for programming variable names; not so much for file names.

Nah... He's about to tune a very big piano
