  1. It may have done at some point, but that doesn't seem to be the case today
  2. There's an explanation of what Plus is here: https://karanyisounds.com/introducing-karanyi-sounds-plus-and-new-dlc-options/
  3. From the website (bold added by me for emphasis): At the heart of this library lies the deep resonant tones of a set of seven crystal singing bowls, captured at the healing frequency of 432Hz. With the sound being close to a raw sine wave, its synth-like qualities can easily be moulded into any shape. Are they hooking into the 432Hz argument of 'better' sounding music?
  4. It'll open in K7 Player, which can co-exist with K6.
  5. That's where I got it. It was bundled with Escape Motions' other titles too!
  6. With that many photos, the delay is completely understandable 😁 Looks like it was fun; glad you had a great time.
  7. And for general promotion. They had a composition competition one year, where entrants were asked to compose (something like) a 1 minute track using any (and only) Labs instruments. It was fun, and it convinced me to give them a try. They sound nice, but I found the player a bit limiting. And yeah, I've got a few orchestral (and other) Kontakt libraries already; I've gotten used to Kontakt, so I tend to stick with those.
  8. I remember there being some talk/commotion around paid-for Pianobook libraries. Is that notion still alive? As for LABS, I personally find the Spitfire player a bit difficult to get on with so never used them much. The install process seemed a bit flaky too. That said, I think it's a great resource for free instruments though.
  9. Don't forget that some Waldorf plugins are available at the APD Shop. They're full-priced, but you can use virtual/reward cash you've earned to bring them down to their base price, which can be lower than 50%.
  10. From the title, I thought you were visiting France 😁 Have a great time, Larry!
  11. Maybe she's standing on a grounded metal plate?
  12. Because you support the developer in doing so, so that they can continue to stay in business and continue building it and other products.
  13. It's very likely AI - the controller looks very wrong. The pink and orange pads don't look to be a uniform shape, and there's next to no space between the light blue pads on the left. The rotary controls look oddly positioned. The keyboard has four consecutive black keys. And the player only has three fingers (and a thumb) on their left hand.

    Realphones Sale

If you have it, don't forget about dearVR MONITOR (which was once available through Plugin Alliance). In any case, let us know how you think they all compare please.

    Considering Bitwig

Unless I'm misunderstanding, couldn't you do this with the Arranger Track/Scratch Pad in Studio One?
  16. Cool - I always wanted to try this one but didn't know if I'd like it. Thanks for the heads-up.
  17. I made a purchase from them and received an email with a download link. It says it can be used up to 5 times before it expires. Does anyone know - does it mean I (only) have 5 chances to download my libraries? or can I access them as many times as I like (within reason) from my account once logged in?
  18. Not sure it works like that: I believe the 2023 bundle only included the plugins released in 2023. The 2022 bundle was different as it was the first of its kind. A fair statement.
  19. That's a good deal; not all of us were eligible for that though (or at least I wasn't). There's also no telling if they'll do a 'total' bundle next year, or what it'll cost if they do.
  20. I get that many here are generally against subscriptions (me included), but the current deal for Mega XXL is quite good. What puts me off a subscription is the idea that if I stop paying, I lose access to my past project. However, you get plugin vouchers with the Mega bundles; that makes it more like paying for a set of plugins to keep while getting full access to their catalogue. For reference, F29 (no longer available) costs $30 per plugin: $29 for the sub, $1 for the plugin. In comparison, Mega XXL yearly is currently $249.99 for 10 vouchers - $24.99 per plugin - while having a year's access to everything.
  21. If the link invites someone to create a convert kit account, I suspect it's the wrong link. I Believe Convert Kit is mainly for the (instrument) creator to create landing pages for people to sign up for their product (i.e. the instrument), rather than Convert Kit itself.
  22. Hadn't thought of that. Another idea might be to pass a recording through something like XLN Life and see what it makes of it.
  23. So I searched YT for videos on Random. I get that it makes unique sounds, and it has a novel interface. But I still don't quite get how it's used in a music-making context: the videos seem to show the sounds it can make (like a technology demo), rather than the music it can contribute to (i.e. a track that it is used in). Does anyone have a demo song or video link where it's used with other instruments?
  24. Merry Christmas everyone!
  25. There's a licence pdf in the download. Here's a screenshot showing a bit of it
