What I thought was funniest was him missing the fact that calling a key "A" was completely arbitrary too. None of the human organs resonate at 432 Hz. either (the heart, for example, is at 289 Hz., give or take a radiation period of a cesium atom). 😀

I've read a lot of interesting and borderline woo-woo reasons (hey, when your PhD work is in hypnotherapy, you run into tons of woo-woo!). Some were based on science like how plants (or animals) react to the same music played based on A equal to 432 vs. 440 and others referring to how everything is in vibration and, therefore, some things are more harmonic using 432 for A. That said, any equal temperament scale is going to have issues with some parts. I do find the whole area interesting.

Heh, I love my E-Bow too, but they definitely require learning the best technique (similar to correctly using a slide - something I also suck at - LOL!). The sustainer was really cool because I didn't have to do anything except work my way around the fretboard. In fact, it was the E-Bow that made me have a Sustainer put into one of my customs (and the above info that also had me remove it).

But I thought you Brits liked it bitter Andy! 😆

FYI - I found out the hard way that the Fernandes Sustainer is actually a licensed version of only one of the models created by Sustainiac. Eventually, I'll get a different clip-on model they have so I don't have to modify any of my customs, plus I can use one on multiple guitars when I want that effect! 👍

I know a few people who have bought Agile guitars (usually sold by Rondo Music) and have been very happy with the quality. This is under $400 new for example.

Wait... There's a solved Rubik's Cube there? Ok, that might make up for the accordion... I used to be able to solve a cube in (according to the Guiness Book of World Records attempt I did) an average of 39 seconds over five scrambled cubes (not even close to the fastest at the event though... 😕). I even used to do alternate solutions like the one below: Front side and back. You can't spin a solved cube to get these, you actually need to solve the cube this way! 😀
