Gswitz
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ArtistWorks I've used this for a while now. It is interesting... Sort of. A friend of mine uses peg head nation. https://bluegrasstoday.com/peghead-nation-hits-its-stride/ Are there others? Patenting video exchanges between students and teachers shocked me. If i read this correctly, artistworks has a patent that will be good until September 2046. Do you use an online learning tool? Like it? Is there something better? Btw, grinch50 is a coupon code for 50% of annual artistworks subscriptions right now. My first year was with https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andreas_Öberg Which was definitely interesting. I'm starting a year with https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Stryker I also took a class in Beethoven's sonatas from coursera. That was cool, but not as engaging as artistworks. craigb
I'm always learning using online education, I just haven't done much in the music world with it (yet!). Mine are all tech., math, physics and self-improvement. LOTS and LOTS of excellent stuff out there now!

If you want to learn now there are tons of resources available online. My daughter watches plenty of videos on how to draw things and is always trying them out. Gswitz
@craigb i didn't know you are into physics... Way cool. https://smile.amazon.com/Cartoon-Guide-Physics/dp/0062731009/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=cartoon+physics&qid=1577055438&sr=8-3 This is the limit of my physics education. ? There is a thing called r-studio i enjoy which is mathematics related. It has a tool called swirl that helps you learn to use it. For web presentation of data there is r shiny. All of this is off topic.

All of this is off topic. I once worked briefly on the flight system for the Tomahawk missile while at a Defense Contractor, so I guess I'm almost a Rocket Scientist, ya? I also created the fuzzy-logic programming used by Verizon to synchronize calls as they bounce from cell tower to cell tower (no, "MY" code was not responsible for dropped calls! ?). Oh yeah, I also wrote the ladder logic used to control wind turbines for Parker Hannifin and corrected a wind power formula posted on a General Electric website. What else would you expect from someone who knows Pi to the first zero and Logarithmic E to 20 digits? ?
Michael Vogel
After 3 previous stalled attempts from age 15, I’m finally now, nearly aged 66, studying for my Amateur Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency so I can get my Ham radio License.

bitflipper
I'm a fan of Rick Beato and Adam Neely's instructional videos. Adam is a gigging gun-for-hire and Rick is a longtime producer, so both are able to spice up dry theory with real-world experience. Here's an example...
craigb
Both excellent! Rick goes REALLY deep into songs and Adam is just a complete music nerd.
InstrEd
@bitflipper Jazz should be only learned at nighttime. In the morning it hurts the brain!
