LPEQ & LPMB

Following a complete Windows reinstall, I've downloaded & installed Platinum & new Sonar (paid)

Both the LPEQ & LPMB open up with a completely blank UI and without any presets.

Anyone know what's happening?

Just tried them - they open up fine here.

FYI i have Installed : Platinum Prod., X1 Prod. And CbB but only use Sonar.

I've just got Splat & Sonar installed, didn't really feel the need to install CbB

Same here. Mine seems fine. It seems that people are reporting random graphic glitches in Sonar. Do you have a second computer to test this?

No, no other pc apart from my main DAW, which works perfectly, and I'm not touching it.

This problem is only on my laptop

This is on Win 11 Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4652)

This happens with and without DPI awareness being switched on

This is l likely an incompatibility with your graphics driver and opengl which the lps use. I think there is a way to disable opengl with the plug-in via an ini setting. I don't remember the value right now.

These plugins use Opengl 3.2

You have a i7 3930.  

For a CPU that old, you might want to consider disabling the CPUs graphic chipset and getting a graphics card.

I have a 4th gen i5 and I have done that.  I have a GTX960. 

For yours, try this:

1. In your Sonar resources folder, look for LPEQ.cws and LPMB.cws
3. Open in notepad and look for the words EnableOpenGL="1"
4. Change to EnableOpenGL="0" 
5. Save the files 

See if you can see the GUIs

If so, then it's your graphics adapter.

How do these show up in the old Command Center?

I have L-Phase Equalizer & L-Phase Multiband

Are those the correct ones or are they the old LP64

Just wondering if I should just reinstall them

I just checked my CCC, and they show up as separate entries on the main screen (last 2 items, under “Connected Products”. 

They are listed as follows:

L-Phase Equalizer 
L-Phase Multiband.

Both appear correctly in Sonar 2025.

Found the .cws files. Opening in Notepad shows this

What is your PC locale?

Mine shows english readable text with the words  EnableOpenGL="1" therein.

My locale is English Australia

Definitely something funky going on there.

What happens if you rename those files, then uninstall LPEQ & LPMB using “Programs and Features”and then reinstall using CCC?

Curious what happens if you just change the foreign characters with English text and resave the files?

Another difference I see is UTF-8 vs. UTF-16 LE, but that may not matter in this case.
