Sonar Offer

My Zoom MRS-8 (MRS stands for mobile recording studio) uses SD cards.  However the maximum card size is 1 gigabyte.  I bought a 10 pack back when they were still available and I realised they were getting rare in retail.

I would argue Sonar has now exceded its former glory, its better than ever, certainly versus the Gibson fiasco. Been there, lived it, moved on BTW.

Respectfully, this is not universally true, that's it's better.  Today I was trying to give new sonar another chance.  Set it up on my laptop, opened up a cbb session with a vst drum I was programming, and in new sonar it wouldn't follow the project on playback.  In cbb worked perfectly no issue.  Mind you, I'm not saying cbb is without issue, I'm just saying that new sonar isn't inherently "better".

If that were the case my post wouldn't be  3 pages deep,  and have others like it on here.  I want cakewalk to succeed as much as the next guy,  I've been using it for decades.  But you can call something out and ask for improvements without being antagonistic to the platform or labelled a "hater".  If they are pushing people in a new direction, they should take into account what those people want in a platform.

@Jeremy Oakes If you read most of my posts you will see that my point of view is one shared by others. 
I support Sonar development team and feel strongly that they are not the issue. They have updated Sonar to the best version yet. We just don’t like the Bandlab Membership deal. I want to have my money go to the developers not to a corporate entity that is focused on making music into a joke for people who are too lazy to actually learn the art form. They don’t care about Sonar because it is way over that crowds heads. 
 

Just open your Bandlab Membership page if you want to see what I am talking about. 
 

@msmcleodI still have around 20 disks including 5 that are brand new but yes I doubt you can even buy them anymore because they are very obscure. Regular mini disks work but that’s only 2 tracks.  I was going to fire it up one day out of curiosity because I still think my best sounding mixes were made with it.  
 

I also have my Zoom L8 which is also a digital recording device. But as they say, it will all end up in a computer anyway. 
 

I love Sonar I don’t love Bandlab. Only thing that will change my mind is the day they allow me to own Sonar. 
It’s not about the cost of a membership, it’s all about what will happen 3 or more years from now? 
You purchase a daw, turn off the internet and keep making music for 3 , 4  ? Years with no interruptions.
