mark skinner
Hey Michael , I Really like this one. You made a good choice of instruments to convey the groove and feeling of this one. The pedal steel guitar is Fantastic. Great tone and performance. Sure wish I had one and could play it . Who is on the acoustic ? It's very nice as well and played with a Great style. The backing and especially the flutes really rounded it out. Loved it all. It did take me a few times through to appreciate the middle breakdown though. Great Job .. mark

Freddy is a Norweigean professional musician and has offered free contributions to some of my tunes. Guitars, bass and synth (flutes) are on me. I can understand that the middle part could be perceived as rugged. I guess it's me trying not to make muzak. 🙄 I usually have troubles making modulations but here it was surprisingly easy to come back to the main key. I am glad you liked andfor your comments as always. Thanks again!

Great sounds and agree about your guitar playing, mighty fine. It's Spectrasonic Trilian upright acoustic bass (VST). Thought about an electric bass first but it made sence in conjunction with a real lap steel and acoustic guitars to have an additional acoutic sound. Thanks Jesse! MichaelJohn
A masterpiece of American acoustic folk! Not sure why you picked ambient genre on SC? Whatever, this is my new favorite!
