Took Mark Skinner's advice and set up a soundclick page for Bob.  I uploaded 11 songs that show the talent of Bob Hermes.  Some files were from 3rd generation cassette tapes so quality may not be the best.  I also updated the link on reckless so the plays go to his account.   Here is the link for his page if you want to hear more of Bob.

His name is Bob Hermes.  I just said goodbye to him over the phone.  But this is not about sympathy for me, it is about this song that he wrote.  I think it is a great song.  We worked on many songs together over the years, but this is all him.

He taught guitar for a living.  I often tried to get him to share his work, but he never went all in, so I didn't push it.  Now I am sharing this song, and maybe later a few others.

 Sorry Jesse , I lost my best friend and playing partner a few years back. Think of him everyday . I built a Soundcloud page of his stuff for his wife after his passing . Nice to have his voice on my hard drive and I visit him often.

I Really appreciate you posting  this nice song of his and feel your pain.

Well, here is the bad part.  They took Bob off life support on Wednesday, and placed him in hospice, but he is still of this realm.  Of course it is a matter of time, but it is anyone's guess of how much time it will be.  Strange to wish it would go quickly, but sometimes it doesn't.

Yes, Jack, but this is all Bob.  I have done songs like this in the past, and often worked with Bob on other songs similar to this.  Lately though, I have strayed into the avant-garde.

Thanks Mark, I did create a file of over 40 songs that Bob created and worked on with our friends over the years and shared it to the group.  So yes, he is on the hard drive and I do listen to him often, as well as my other friends.  They could really write some ear worms.

Hi Jesse.  I'm very sorry to hear about you friend.  At my age I have lost a few fiends and it isn't easy.

The song you posted by him was wonderful.  The lyrics tell a great story and it was just the basics (a man, a voice and a guitar).  That made the song even more impactful.
