Rain
Being poor sure helped me not to forget the word realistic when I started playing electric guitar. This was my first "amp". We also had a über cheap Realistic keyboard with drum patterns that I used to cut some of my very first "demos". On our Realistic stereo combo, of course.

I used to actually dig the Radio Shack equipment .....I had PZM mic and a little keyboard that was a sampler that I really liked . all the best Kenny 1

I want to be a better/slimmer/fitter person, but I'm not going to even attempt that until the last digit of the date changes, because obviously that changes everything, right? NY resolutions are almost by definition made by owners of a feeble mind and therefore doomed to failure anyway. 😀

My NY resolution was gonna be to get that liver transplant my doctor keeps nagging me about. But since it's doomed to fail, I'll just stick with this old one and save my money. I mean a little cirrhosis never hurt anyone right? Thanks, ur a lifesaver 🤢
craigb
I made a New Year's resolution on January 1st, 2000 that I'm still keeping to this day! I resolved to not make any more stupid New Year's resolutions. 😂

As a kid I also loved the Sears & JC Penney catalogs. My first guitars & amps were from there. I still have an old Silvertone amp.

Here's a website with scans of all their catalogs from the 30's to 2011. It takes a while to load the web page the way they have it laid out. At first I thought everything was deleted but it all eventually showed up. https://www.radioshackcatalogs.com/ Edited Wednesday at 08:52 PM by Shane_B. 3

I loved the ease of walking in and buying electronic supplies for my guitars all in one place . They had everything I would need for my electronic up grades . Solder , flux, heat shrink tubing , contact cleaner , colored wiring so I could color code my guitars wiring , potentiometers , capacitors, ,plus a whole lot of stuff just to name a few things in a brick and mortar store . I always felt I learned something reading their catalog plus the workers in the stores I went to were always helpful . all the best , Kenny
