GTsongwriter
I'm looking at the 60% off “Morph EQ” by Minimal Audio. Anyone have this plugin that would like to comment?

I have it and got it with excitement as a Sound Designer. But all the EQ modulations need manual controlling or automation therefore it seems useless without built-in LFOs for me. I can do the same with Q3 if I need automation and tons of clicks. I prefer the Apulsoft APqualizer or UVI Shade, which is very similar but much more functional and practical to use but with a little more investment.
Brian Lawler
I too jumped on an earlier deal for Morph EQ and was disappointed with the lack of MSEG or at least LFO. Since then I got Cableguys bundle and Infiltrator 2 which are much more expensive, but filtering is just a slice of what they offer.

I actually don't understand what it's filtering.

I only have the Cableguys "Filter Shaper Core" that is part of Shaperbox 3. Apparently their "Filtershaper XL" has more features . I think Filter Shaper is very similar to Morph EQ, but has the time domain tools. You can get similar results with Morph EQ by feeding it an LFO or automation data. IMHO functionally, EQ and filter are the same thing.
Antal Nusselder
I like Morph EQ for wild random moves. But I use Reaper in order to automate its parameters. I imagine the same could be done with Bitwig or Ableton.

When you used the installer, did it trigger Microsoft Smart blue Screen and showed the company that made it on the screen or did it turn yellow asking if you sure you want to install it? Not that I recall. But I can't be sure as I bought and installed it several months ago already Edited August 7 by Antal Nusselder

Kirean
Well, VSTBuzz re-opened and as expected the deals are.. not as epic as their advertisement promised: https://vstbuzz.com/ Plus now you need to click on the deals to see the price. As they say: "Not with a bang but a whimper." Edited November 27 by Kirean
