Cobus Prinsloo
Hi everyone. I want to use sidechaining for the first time, and according to the tutorials, I should add a Send in the console of the trigger instrument (track 30) to the console of the one that I'd like to compress (track 29). When I click on Send in track 30, the list of options does not include the compressor in track 29. Can someone please enlighten me?
mark skinner
Looks like your send from track 30 is set to go to "bus c" instead of track 29. Delete the send and see if it's availabe for track 29 afterwards. just a guess ..

The sidechain inputs should still be exposed no matter what other sends are present Here I can send from Track 6 to the Comp on Track 5 even though there's a send to the Delay bus present Edited July 17 by Bristol_Jonesey
Noel Borthwick
The sidechaining routing detects feedback and eliminates routing possibilities that would result in feedback. This is the most likely reason it's not shown.
