Advice please - any Neural DSP Plug-in users in here?

I just received an email from Neural DSP informing me that as I bought a Quad Cortex from them, I'll soon be entitled to a free plug-in.

I must say they do have some neat stuff on their website HERE and it would be rude not to take them up on the offer.

I'm likely to opt for one that leans toward the metal end of the spectrum, although having said that, I'm open to any advice and opinions from anyone out their that uses these plug-ins.

They all have demos I believe. Try them out.  Most of theirs, besides maybe the Cory Wong one, will do metal just fine.

Whelp, believe it or not, I do not own any Neural DSP plugins.

But are you sure about that?  'Cause I have FAR (FAR, FAR, FAR) fewer plugins than you and even I don't know all that I have! ?

Have demo'd a number of them.  Not a metal player here.  Thought all of them I tried out were over-rated, not bad just not worth anywhere near the asking price.  ToneX is where it is at.

That said, for Free - I'd certainly demo them and find what you will get the most out of with that and QC.

Well, it's a Crate so it's not like they can claim to be the best sounding amp, right?  They needed a gimmick instead to make you look. ?
