After my update to 23.09 (a few days ago), this happens with my start screen.  Everything else seems to work properly, it's just the link to an URL.   FYI and any suggestions on how to get the start screen back.  Thanks in advance.

I put the URL in Chrome and got this.  Why is it legacy Sonar and why would start screen have it's own web page?

On another note, why would an https site Not be secure?

Mine still had the side bar but there were no recent projects. It slowly has repopulate itself. So something happened with the update. Your are the 3rd person who had this happen.

This is likely due to some specific settings you have for the start screen that is referencing the cakewalk.com domain that doesnt support the older apps. What is the version of the startscreen exe you have?

We may update the Startscreen and change its references to Cakewalk.

That's  bit of a weird one. My start screen is fine on both Win 10 and the latest Win 11 update (Version    10.0.22621 Build 22621)

If it makes a difference - this is Windows 11 Home edition

Yes -- it's a weird one.  My studio system (Win 11) updated just fine.  It's my office HP (Win10) that did the funky thing.  Just to check I updated my Lenovo laptop (Win10) which hadn't been updated in a year or two, and it updated just fine.  Perhaps I had a misfire when I updated the office HP.
