craigb
If he could have just made it to March 18th, then he would have died at 77 on the 77th day of the year! Killed his Mom? Something tells me he won't be RIP! ?
Craig Fowler
His story's pretty tragic 'other Craig' IIRC...he'd been very mentally ill for decades. Based on his wiki entry I suspect had he been tried ten years later, it would have been for involuntary manslaughter rather than murder.

Grem
RIP. He was the one that came up with the piano part at the end of Layla.
ptheisen
Some say it was actually Rita Coolidge that came up with that piano part, and Jim Gordon. her boyfriend at the time, appropriated it for Layla without giving her even partial credit. An eventual murderer appropriated his girlfriend's piano part and was credited for it on an Eric Clapton song and dissing her. As Hunter S. Thompson (may or may not have) said: “The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.” Edited March 17, 2023 by Bapu

Old Joad
What Happened to Derek & The Dominos?
Michael Parson-McNamara
His drum parts on oh so many favorite songs/albums are still a joy to hear. I also loved his Hammond part on Jackson Browne's Under the falling sky. I can think of two times I got to hear/see him; Mad Dogs and Derek & the Dominos both in Chicago...... I trust that he is at peace now.
