MIDI notes in piano roll cannot be altered /edited

There are some MIDI notes in my MIDI performance (in piano roll) that "refuse" to be edited. The smart tool or other tools do not  have any effect when hovering over these certain MIDI notes. Other notes can be edited in the same general area. I cannot determine velocity, etc. Any help is appreciated.

Check that Lock Data isn't turned on for that Clip

Thank you Bristol_Jonesey. The uneditable MIDI notes are a part of one complete performance. So its in essence one long clip.

As they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Post a screenshot of your PVR and maybe someone will notice something.

I zoomed in and noticed that the only notes I cannot edit are the ones confined by the grid. Snap is turned off, and I thought I went through all of the settings but to no avil

Seems like you should be able to move them. Will they not move in time, pitch or both? can you delete them? Can you cut and paste them and then move them?  When you select one of them does a clip in the Track View hightlight?

What does the event list say about them

Can you edit them there?

@reginaldStjohnI cannot delete them, move them, highlight them,  which is intriguing. 
 

@Bristol_Jonesey not certain how to view it in event lost at this moment, but will Research it and let you know.

Views > Event List

Select the track you want from the Pick Tracks option
