Setting so timeline slider will go wherever I want to put it

If I *don't* want the slider to snap only to certain intervals - what I think of as a "snap to" function, where do I find the setting for this? I.e. I want to be able to move the slider *anywhere* including at the fully zoomed sample level from one sample to the next.

Both "Snap" and "Snap to Grid" are in the index.  While the "Online Documentation" has a search feature, I have found that many times the Table of Contents and the Index are more efficient for me when used with my browser's Find feature [Ctrl + F].
