Another song by Citizen Regen

Ken "Zargg" Nilsen - Vocals, Guitar
Dave "bitflipper" Townsend - Keys
Kai Steines - Guitars
Ed "Bapu" Kocol - Bass
Hugo Ribeiro - Drums

Verse 1:
The walking dead roam the earth free
Alone in my head is all I can be

Pre Chorus:
Everything is out of control
Nothing feels whole

Chorus:
The feeling is chronic
Everyone is catatonic
Disruption in the human harmonic
With this dread of being catatonic

Verse 2:
Will I ever run or jump again
Or is this darkness the beginning of the end

Bridge:
My eyes are closed can't see a thing
My legs won't move to this bed they cling
My arms are heavy and dead to me
It's as if I've ceased to be

Verse 3:
Everyone says "you need to be strong"
I've not been that for so very long

Good mix, only thing I would say is perhaps the vocals could come up just a tiny little bit

Wayyyy Cool!!  I'm not big on Metal either but this could make me like it a bit more.  The effect on the vocal is ear catching, like a buzz saw.

Thanks, John!

The thing you're hearing is probably my low vocal, singing an octave below the lead voice. There's no special effect on that vocal, besides reverb and delay.

I usually double track verse vocals, and triple track choruses and bridges.

All the best.

You guys are gonna make me like metal.
IDK the vocal seems a little low at the beginning, but okay after that.

Awesome! Great mix. I thought the vocals were just right.

FYI: for those not familiar with the genre common in metal the guitars tend to be the main focus and the vocals are usually further down in the mix surrounded by the rest of it, instead of riding on top. They're just another melodic - or depending on subgenre -  rhythmic element. Exceptions mainly being bands with an absolutely stellar vocalist like Rob Halford or Bruce Dickinson.

As noted @Citizen Regen the vocals must have been really deep, this is very much more in line with the genre. Has the Citizen Regen stamp on this for sure.  Mix works well here on the Events.

Thanks Wookiee for the listen ?

This song rocks - very heavy - well done - all the instruments and vocals sounded pro.  The mix sounded top-notch through my headphones.

Thanks for the listen and your kind words.
