CoyoteMidi Midi to Keyboard Shortcut (Video)

Hi?

In short: It's like Autohotkey, but instead of shortcuts you use midi pads, buttons and encoders .

You can use both! All actions(hotkeys) from active Autohotkey script can be used.

I'll try to make a short video showing some actions and howto connect midi with shortcuts, mouse clicks or scripts...

For years, authotkey has been able to accept MIDI data using midi4ahk

Here is a pretty good write up about it.

I have not played with it.

I've been using Autohotkey to automate the process of making Unified libraries for PluginGuru Unify but never realised it could be made to  accept MIDI data.
I will check out midi4ahk and that article, thanks.

I've used Bome MIDI translator classic for a few years to do the MIDI to keyboard shortcuts/combos.  You can test it out for free, just has a count down splash page - simlar concept to REAPER.

Mostly use it for Photo Software interaction with a X-Touch Mini controler (similar functionality as Loopdesk offers without the propreitery interface).

HI:)

I've done 4 pads to control the track manager with CoyoteMidi:

==========

key stroke h
wait 0.2
click left 5800 800 stroke
wait 0.3
click left 5760 900 stroke
wait 0.2
key stroke enter
=========

Tried out with 4 Templates:

All, Drums, Voices and Rhythm Section. 4 Midipads to load the templates, as seen in the video:

Have fun;)

Bassman.
