In four phases:
 

Phase 1 - Prota One

Phase 2 - Tascam 308 console, Tascam 80-8/32/Panasonic DAT

Phase 3 - Alesis X-2 console, three ADAT Black faces

Phase 4 - DAWs galore (oh yean, and some plugins too)

I desperately need a Porta 2. Before all my tapes go bad. I'd also like a DAT player. My Sony died. I still have all of my old DAT tapes with my band backing tracks we used live and a ton of LPs I no longer have.

Entry level but functional. Just dump the onboard sound card.

Technically I originally had a regular cassette recorder with dolby noise reduction in it, but I cannot remember the brand name. I recorded a few band rehearsals with it.

Didn't IK Multimedia just release their software emulation of those rigs?

Too bad they don't qualify as freebies in the group buy!

I can think of plenty of uses for a 5-channel, surround-sound toilet flush.

You could play it at someone's birthday potty.   Of course, you would charge a small feces.
