Colin Nicholls Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 This suite was inspired by a trip taken to Oregon in 2017 to witness the Solar Eclipse, but expanded with a fictional account from an Indonesian photographer for dramatic and metaphorical effect. This is the first time I've used Cakewalk By Bandlab for every aspect of the production, including Mastering. (-14 LUFS average). BandCamp: The Prodigal Sounds: Annulus Suite Thanks for listening; I hope you enjoy. 4
KSband Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 Very nice! Lot's of cool sounds, really good work. I can hear some Floyd, Yes and other influences in there, but it's your own too. 1
DeeringAmps Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 Well done Colin! When I have a bit more time I'll get back for the full suite, as alas, the lunch bell chimes... t

mark skinner Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Colin , I am Totally Amazed at your talent and this production. That was the best 45 minutes I've spent listening to music in years. There was a nice CSN feel to a lot of this that really grabbed me. That was a beautiful tone on the classical guitar as well. Awesome .. mark 1
Lynn Wilson Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Awesome! This production just shines. I'd like to hear more from you!
