Bapu Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 That is terrible news. Please let us know if there is any contributions we can make in his honor. Bill will be truly missed here amongst his online friends. 1
InstrEd Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Such terrible news. Bill was always lifting our spirits with his humor. I know as one of his online friends he will be missed.
Guest Salvatore Monella Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 (edited) This is very sad news. I hope that he is playing his guitar, surrounded by sexy, scantily-clad angels, and eating BBQ, BECAN, and a freshly baked, homemade pie. RIP. Edited May 6, 2021 by Salvatore Monella
craigb Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Oh F***!!!! ? There goes my good mood for today... ? Thanks for letting us know Mrs. XX! Bill will definitely be missed! I wonder if Bill is Jamming with Bo and Jan? Good stuff here!!! 1
Jesse Screed Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 What? I don't think I ever once participated in a thread with Bill but I read a lot of them. He seemed to always have a positive attitude throughout his trials and tribulations. So sad. There might not be beer in heaven, but hopefully he'll have all the "bacon" he desires. May he rest in peace.
Notes_Norton Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 My sincere condolences to you and your family. Bill will be missed. Remember the good things as that will ease your difficulties. I will remember his sense of humor. Bob

henkejs Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Sorry to hear the news. Condolences to family and friends. . .
SteveStrummerUK Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 I've been happy to call Bill a friend since he first stopped by the old Guitar Tracks forum many a year back. A brave ex-serviceman with a heart of gold and a wonderful generosity of spirit - a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Proud to have known you Bill - the world is a poorer place with your passing. 2
InstrEd Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 I was at the grocery store this morning and passed the bakery where they had pies for sale. The first thing I thought of was Bill making all his home-made pies for the holidays. We will miss you Bill.
